What will Sin be doing this month?
Added 2022-09-01 15:18:35 +0000 UTCOkay so last month was the absurdly stupid decision to make a game for 2 straight weeks for the Game Jam. Because of this, I will be switching gears entirely from that PvZ game I wanted to make, and will instead be doing something far more relaxed and less thinking-about-gameplay intensive.
I really want to make a DDLC fangame, obviously being smut and expansion oriented. Lovey-dovey story stuff always gets me, and DDLC's girls just are a really good catalyst for that sort of thing, and so I want to make one! It won't be styled in the way That Special Day is, where it's just one short VN, btw. It will be like DDLC Plus, where it's essentially a set of medium/short-length stories compiled into one project.
Another fun detail about this fangame would be that I'm not going to even bother trying to replicate the original artstyle. I understand that has for some reason become a pretty heavy staple in fangames for DDLC, even when fetish-related, but I personally don't see too much of a point in it. Make it your own thing, in my opinion. So, I will be drawing entirely new sprites for all of the girls, with many new poses for each of them. Sketches of these poses/sprites will come over time. There will also of course be CG's, to which I actually want to try and do a ton of them, just for fun.
