Hi folks!

It's the midpoint of the month and I wanted to share with you how development is going this month. At the moment I'm juggling between a few different things - I'm still working on a more detailed sketch for the entire Day 5 and Broken Harbours is at the last stretch before the release, but mostly I'm working on the new update.

The upcoming v0.51 update will be for multiple characters - only I'm not yet sure how many I'll be able to finish before the end of the month. I'm aiming at two at the moment: Devon and Lake. I hope to get a shorter update for Rune out too, but I can't promise that one yet. Remembering about Spooktober, there's something else I'm putting some writing into, though this year it won't be a separate build - some of you might be guessing which route is getting an update too 👀

Broken Harbours is all proofread and almost ready for the release - I only want to record a few more tracks for it, but I've been having a hard time with it lately. I've been so focused on writing this year that composing anything new doesn't come easily now. There are also sex scenes that proved to be impossible to synchronise with VA in RenPy - so instead I'm turning these into videos, which is quite tedious work. We're also waiting for a Chinese translation, that might take a longer moment too as the rework is really extensive, and about 1/3 of the scenes are new.

Some extra things I hoped to tackle soon, like expanding gallery code that I keep on GitHub available for free, another side story, or merch (we have plans for pins, charms, prints and soundtrack CDs), will have to wait a bit longer. I simply don't have time to put even more on my plate at the moment - but, eventually, they're coming!

One more thing - as the publicly hosted on Itch version of Dawn Chorus doesn't feature adult content anymore, the VN is no longer tagged as featuring sensitive content and isn't 18+, in case you want to share it with others but were afraid of their reactions. A small change, but a change nevertheless!
