When Kendall realized that Paul was serious about breaking up with her, she got the message and she even said that she'll give up most of her activities, even her study group or whatever else as long as they have to get back together and she was really serious about it. Normally when boyfriend - girlfriend breaks up, most of the time they still get back together for a second chance to patch up their differences.
