Follow-up: Patreon Problems

Whoop! Mea culpa.
Most of you are fine. The declines only affected about 20% of patrons.
If you still have access to Patron-only posts, like Chapter 19a, then you're good.
If not, check with your bank and/or follow the links and advice in my first post.

Lovely. Do you have any info from your banks? Do they even see the transactions as declined? You might be able to give them instructions to approve any transaction from Patreon. Worth a try. As far as Patreon support... dunno what to tell you. I don't have great experiences with them either. Keep trying, though. We'll figure out something.

I've tried two different cards, both with funds, both guaranteed to be functional by the banks, yet patreon still says its declined. I'm at a week waiting on a reply from patreon. I don't know man, but I'd seriously look into something else to post this on or at least mirror your posts somewhere. I really enjoyed your content, but if I can't get it, not much I can do about it. At least until patreon decides to pull their head out of their ass and reply to my ticket.

2018-09-05 20:53:05 +0000 UTCI spoke with the Credit Union and it is worse than I thought. I have to file a "travel notice" to use my card out of STATE much less out of the COUNTRY - like for Patreon billing. I THINK I got a six month waiver for Patreon that is renewable, but I'm not really certain - I'll find out for sure in February. Now, if only I had a way to actually contact Patreon's billing; I've tried but to gotten nowhere.
2018-09-05 20:47:51 +0000 UTCYou should be able to call your CU and have them put an approval on your account for that charge. So you shouldn't have to approve it every month. Most banks will do that. It just takes a phone call to the right person, which is harder than it should be.

How do I tell Patreon to try again? I will have to repeat this process EVERY MONTH for all INTERNATIONATIONAL transactions, like this and SOL. This SUCKS!

PayPal, PayPal, Visa, and MasterCard are, though, in that order. (Yes, I wrote PayPal twice. They deserve a special place in hell for their censorship. More than a decade, at this point. Fuckers. But I digress.)

When I received your message I updated my card details but apparently Patreon only have one billing cycle a month and now I have missed it, I have done everything ask and it says I'm a Member but unfortunately I cannot get 19b or process payment. Regards
