So, this scene has a funny story from my real life. It's also the reason it keeps coming up in SC-Christy.
I had a long-term girlfriend who's the basis for Kendall. As a matter of fact, one of the wildest scenes between Paul and Kendall actually happened to us. Like, no shit, that really happened.
But I'm getting ahead of myself. Here's the story of the real-life table...
One Sunday I was hanging out with my girlfriend at her house. Her parents were out at a church picnic, so we had the house to ourselves. We started fooling around and ended up having sex on the kitchen table. I guess we were a bit too enthusiastic, and you probably know where this is going.
Yep, we broke the damn table. Wood splintered, the legs went flying, and I ended up grabbing my girlfriend before she fell and hit her head.
The table was an antique, of course, handed down from some great-aunt. Now, mind you, it wasn't a Chippendale original or anything. It was just a rustic Americana kitchen table on its last legs (pun intended, sorry). But my girlfriend's mother loved the thing, so we couldn't exactly sweep up the pieces and buy a new one.
Instead, we concocted a story about me sitting on it and breaking it accidentally. Her mother wasn't happy, but she accepted when I offered to pay to have it repaired.
Damn thing cost almost $400! The mother let me pay it too, because she probably knew how we'd actually broken the thing. This was the same woman who'd already caught us having sex before. Like, caught us at a critical moment, which you can read about in SC-Gina.
Was it worth it? Yeah, probably. I really liked the girl, and the sex was amazing. Besides, her father ended up slipping me $200 because he felt guilty about what had happened. (He believed the accident story. He was a nice guy, but a bit clueless about what his daughter and I were up to. She was a little angel in his eyes, and we made sure he never learned the truth. But I digress.)
Anyway, that's enough storytelling. Collectors, be sure to blah, blah, blah. You know the drill.
