It's Ronnie, from California Dreamin'. She's a fun character. And I'll let you in on a secret: there's a reason her scumbag ex-husband is named Don. Hmm. What could it be?
Anyway, Ronnie is a MILF who likes Jazzercize. And here's a fun fact, Jazzercise got its major start in San Diego. (Yes, it was invented somewhere else, but it didn't gain widespread popularity until later. Today, the company is still headquartered in Carlsbad, CA, a suburb north of San Diego. But I digress.*)
For what it's worth, the artist nailed my mental image of Ronnie. Yay!

* I do a ton of research for my stories. I didn't know a thing about Jazzercise before I started writing California Dreamin'. So I learn all these fascinating things as I write. You only see them as passing mentions in the stories themselves, but I know lots and lots of background about each of my characters and settings. Pretty cool, if I do say so myself... and I do. π€
