But for those of you that don't know who Senor Brady is- well he's my brother that joined Delos for the first crossing from Mexico to French Polynesia way back in 2010. As sometimes happens a 1 month sail turned into over 10 years of brotherly love and adventures sailing around the world! A few years back Brady started a sailing school that provides real-world cruising knowledge. It's not just the theory behind sailing, but super practical things like how to choose an anchorage, how to drop the hook, read weather, route planning, and even how to properly provision a sailboat. Sea of Cortez Cruising Course Details:

For this trip only, we are offering Delos Patrons a 20% discount (or more if booking as a couple or family!)

Fly in and out of Loreto, BCS, Mexico (LTO)

Who is trip this for:

Anyone who is interested in learning and experiencing the Cruising life first hand with 7 days of sailing and exploring the different anchorages around Isla Carmen. The logistics of this trip are straight forward, with excellent flights in and out of Loreto (airport code LTO)- which is our absolute favorite town in Baja! It's safe, quaint, and it’s colorful streets are full of music and delicious food. 

Just off the coast, you can find many unique anchorages tucked into the islands of the Loreto Marine Park. This creates the perfect spot to train sailors and allow them to experience what's it's like to live on, and navigate a sailboat for a week. Isla Carmen’s many anchorages provide a cruisers paradise with beautiful hiking, paddle boarding and snorkeling! Most anchorages are about a day sail away, so this trip is perfect for anyone who is looking to get a better grasp on the fundamentals of sailing and navigating but also interested in exploring, adventure, and experiencing the cruisers lifestyle.  Every student will step into a crew member role aboard Lintika. From sailing and navigation, to cooking and holding watch, students will learn about the boat systems and best practices we utilize to run a blue water boat. 

Courses are limited to 4 students max. The trip includes your personalized instruction and coaching, accommodations aboard including all food and beverages, safety equipment, and course materials.
