Come join us for a FLIPPING good weekend in Australia!

Friday, July 12th Patrons Only BBQ

3:00 PM - 7:00 PM

We'll host a Patrons Only BBQ on Friday, July 12th at the build shed. We can throw a shrimp on the barbie! J/K that's not really a thing here... But there will be burgers, sausages, and beers in the arvo, and that for sure is a thing here! We'll do it at the build shed so you can have a chance to see Delos 2.0 up close and personal. And we can chat about sailing, boat building, or whatever! We'll provide beer and non-alcoholic drinks but if you want anything other than that feel free to BYO.   We'll start at 3:00 and probably eat around 4:00 is my guess. Just search on Redland City Marina, or address is 100 Beveridge Rd, Thornlands, QLD 4164.  We're at Shed 6, or you can just follow your way to the loud music and welding :)

Saturday, July 13th The Flip + Dinner!!

09:00 AM - 2:00 PM

3:00 PM Onwards For Dinner

Saturday will be the main event! We'll pull Delos 2.0 out of the shed, hook two giant cranes to her, and flip her end for end in the air. Check out the pictures from hull # 1 being flipped in the post above. It should be a heart stopper! Also on Saturday after the flip happens I arranged a Mexican themed afternoon fiesta! There will be MARGARITAS and a TACO BAR!  I'm thinking probably 3PM or so.  The location will be at The Office Restaurant and Bar 10/24 Middle St, Cleveland QLD 4163 which is just a few minutes from the marina and a really cool spot run by a fellow sailor and friend. So keep this on your calendar!

FAQ

Is there a cost for this event?

Nope, we're hosting for our Patrons. We'll provide the food and drinks for the BBQ on Friday. For the dinner at the restaurant everyone will pay for their own tabs.

Are you organizing accommodation and transportation?

I sure wish we could! But I'm afraid our tables are pretty full with the build so it's up to everyone to organize their own accommodation and transportation. If you have any questions let us know and we'll do our best to help.
