Februaryโs deliveries went into the mail yesterday, and I hope that they reach you swiftly! Onward we march, with our eyes towards the coming of Spring.
To mark the MBPSโs third spring season, weโre welcoming back a much beloved guest!! Historical costumer Syd Roper, AKA Canary Costuming, is joining us again for Marchโs Postcard of the Month!
Working with Syd back in 2021 to make the March 2021 postcard, A Curious Ingenue, was such a delight. We were both much greener in our practices, and over time I have gotten to see Sydโs wonderful variety of eras and expressions flourish. Since our first collaboration Iโve wished to also get to capture the charming, rakish masculinity they often wear, and at last the stars have aligned. In An Ingenueโs Progress, we get to check back in on a darling who is perhaps now much more comfortable and experienced wandering in the fae woods, and see how the tables have turned.
The finished illustration will be released next week!!
