Phew, Iโve had this one in the works for a while, and Iโm pleased to finally release it into the wild! This gilded valentine will be landing on the doorsteps of Crow Collectors and Raven Dandies in February. ๐ Iโve wanted to highlight these stylized Victorian fencing costumes for forever! This frame might be one of my favorites that Iโve ever made, and I got to use it for the forthcoming bonus card as well, which makes a lovely diptych with this piece.
Apologies for not posting a WIP on this one, as I usually doโฆ As with most, my holiday season was a whirlwind, and Iโm glad to be settling back into routine.
If you are wondering about whether this postcard will arrive in time for Valentineโs Day: Wait for some news regarding this! Iโve always wished that there were a way to make my February cards better able to be used as valentines. This year, Iโm going to try something a little bit funky. More to follow!
Regarding January deliveries: My aim was to get them out this past weekend. However, last week I was hit with an absolutely monster cold that knocked me flat on my back for several days. It does not seem to have been COVID, as my partner and I both had the same affliction and both tested negative multiple timesโฆ But whatever it was, it was a real doozy. Instead, you can expect January deliveries to go out into the mail next weekend. Thank you for your patience!
