SLEDDERS – What's Now?

Huge thanks to everyone who jumped in on the launch. The feedback has been wild—sometimes brutally honest, but always helpful.

Here’s what’s going on:

🔧 Xbox Achievements
Some Xbox achievements are broken. We're working on a fix.
Temporary solution: If you delete your save data, achievements will start working again. This removes your map markers, but lets achievements trigger properly.

🔊 Sounds Are Bugged
Yep, we know. Some engine sounds (especially turbo ones) are broken. We’ve identified the issue and are fixing it.

🔍 Server Search & Filter
There are now too many servers. Wild problem to have, but here we are.
We’re adding:
– A search field
– Maybe sorting by name, region, map, player count, and ping

🔐 Private Servers with Passwords
Already working behind the scenes—we’re building the UI so it’s easy to create and join private servers with a code. Just like in Among Us.

🧼 Bad Word Filter
Yes, some server names have been inappropriate. The filter is being updated. Please keep reporting anything sketchy. We’ll ban offenders from multiplayer. We don't want to risk Sledders getting removed from consoles.

🕹️ Controller Remapping (Console)
You’ve asked for it. We're working on letting you customize button layouts on Xbox and PlayStation. No promises for the first patch, but it’s in progress.

🎮Patch ETA?
We’re working as fast as we can. But now that the game is also on Xbox and PlayStation, updates take longer.
All changes must be tested across three platforms and then approved by both console companies before we can push the patch live.

🌍 Crossplay – It Does Work
 We’ve heard some of you say crossplay between PC and consoles isn’t working—but it is. Here’s what’s actually going on. If you’ve ever used mods, the game hides "No mods allowed" servers from your server list.

Most online servers are mod-free (so consoles can join them too).

To fix it:
Remove all mods
Reinstall Sledders
Verify game files on Steam (Google it)

Now you’ll see the full list of crossplay-compatible servers and can ride with console players again. We are figuring out if we can allow console players and modded PC players to play together. We need to check from PS and Xbox what to do.

🧭 What’s Next?
These are all on our list. No ETA yet and no promises that these will ever be included — but we’re working to bring these to the game:

Let’s start with new maps and news sled (I have been told that DO NOT PROMISE ANY MORE SLEDS). Better GGB Sounds. Missions and a full career mode are quite high priority. Replay mode and photo mode are on the list, along with a friend list and proximity voice chat. Drone mode to make those cool videos would be nice to have. We want to have Arctic Cat and Yamaha sleds, but the situation with AC is not the easiest, and yes, those greasy old triples with sounds would be nice. We want also to bring in real gear brands like FXR, TOBE, and 509 which we have been talking with.
There is much more cool stuff going on behind the curtains.

We didn’t expect thousands of players to show up this fast. But here we are, and we’ll keep building this game together.
