The first snow hasn’t hit the ground yet, but for us the new riding season in Sledders starts now.

We just launched the “It’s Almost Winter” update, and while on the surface it looks like “a new map and a few features,” there’s actually more going on under the hood.
When we started planning this season of updates, the big question was:
Do we keep pushing huge features and delay everything, or do we release smaller updates that keep the game alive while the bigger work continues?
We chose the second route. That’s why you’re getting Drainage now, even though single player, new sleds, and audio rework are still in development. We’d rather give you something to ride now than ask you to wait months with nothing new.
It’s exactly the kind of terrain that pushes both the sled and the rider to their limits. We wanted a space where players could get stuck, and figure out lines that aren’t obvious. In other words, it’s not just content — it’s training for what’s coming in future maps.
Because players keep showing us their sleds and awesome. Screenshots on Discord, little video clips — showing off your sled is half the fun. Photomode is a tool to do that better, and we’re expecting to see wild shots coming in.
The big-ticket item is still engine sounds, set for December. That update will be different — not about new features, but about how the whole game feels. Getting the throttle sound right is one of the hardest parts of immersion, and we don’t want to ship it until it actually makes you grin when you pin it. Let's make BRAAAAAAAP great again!
Behind the scenes we’re also moving ahead with:
Single player challenges (Tony Hawk–style, task-based riding)
New sleds and new wraps
Custom map tools — modders can already do some work, but integrating mod.io would bring those creations to console as well.
So yes — this update is smaller. We’re not waiting for “perfect,” we’re giving you real progress, piece by piece.
Thanks for supporting us here. It makes it possible to build the game this way — openly, steadily, with sledders in the loop.
