Class Design: Syphon Subclasses

Alright, it's time to get down to the Subclasses of the Syphon and determine what kind of unique differentiation each subclass should provide from each other. This poll is meant to determine the kind of things you think would be best used to differentiate one Syphon subclass from another, and so it's not really a 'one option wins' but more of a 'what do you think is important?' so we'll include multiple choice on this one.


1) Unique Venom types- Fairly straightforward; should syphon subclasses play around with unique venoms only they get access to?

2) Unique Hunt Conditions - Should Syphons get unique ways to track their prey and unique methods of enabling their syphon strikes feature?

3) Spellcasting - Should one of the Syphon subclasses play with Tertiary spellcasting like an arcane trickster or eldritch knight?

4) Hyperfocus - should some of the Syphon archetypes lean all the way in and hyper-focus on certain aspects of the class?

5) Other - leave a comment with other ideas you might have.

Comments

I think one focusing on venoms, another a halfcaster, and maybe 1-2 subs focusing on the abilities would be cool.
