The Monster of Kaon (Transformers Si): Chapter 63
Added 2025-08-03 05:50:02 +0000 UTCAboard the Decepticon warship, the Harbinger, the former second-in-command of the Decepticons, Starscream, stared with confusion and worry as the terminals displayed the extreme activity across the planet, both human and Cybertronian.
“Just what in the name of Primus is going on out there?”
In the last twenty-four hours, Starscream had faced so many obstacles to his supposed plan of autonomy that he was now questioning his life choices quite seriously.
First, it was the sudden quakes and natural disasters shaking this planet apart bit by bit, which he later learned was due to the evil twin of Primus, Unicron himself, as stated in the prophecy of old.
Then, the ship’s sensors picked up multiple Space Bridge usages both in the orbit of the planet, on the planet proper, and even in deep space, multiple times, making him question why the Decepticons were mobilizing at such a rapid pace.
And then, for some reason, even the humans of this planet grew hostile towards anything not their own, which was quite evident when Starscream flew to Siberia to track a potential Energon vein only to be shot at with artillary and Anti-Air batteries throughout his flight, showing that Russia was now being openly hostile to any machinery that did not have their IFF. A stance that was being used across the globe by nearly all the human countries for some reason.
Staring at the data streams on the ship, Starscream, the ever-opportunistic and cowardly Seeker, finally decided to stop hiding and do something about the situation.
“I need to head back to the Nemesis. Only then will I know what exactly is going on out there. Worst comes to worst, I will have to deal with the insanity of Megatron, which is nothing compared to the anxiety I feel right now by not being in the know.”
With his decision made, the Seeker transformed and flew straight to the Decepticon capital ship.
Not knowing that ground-breaking news was awaiting him out there, something that would make him consider fleeing this star system altogether.

Moscow, Russia.
In a classified location underneath the city, hidden within a bunker, the majority of the world’s representatives, those who were entrusted by their various presidents and leaders, gathered in the room, wearing masks and using code names to keep their identities hidden for the sake of what they were about to discuss.
‘Sergei’, the representative of Russia, looked towards his right, where ‘John’, the representative of the USA, passed a few files to his fellow representatives.
Looking down at the various data sheets, plans, and other things, Sergei could not help but sneer at John.
“Don’t you think it's far too late to be this ‘generous’ with information?”
John simply gave Sergei a glance and continued with his task before speaking.
“Don’t speak like your leaders would not have done the same thing should they have landed on Russian territory, or anywhere else for that matter.”
“Let’s face it, we are all out to secure our own interests, and there is no need to point fingers.”
“Easy for you to say, what with how much you probably gained thanks to the aliens and whatever deal you struck with them. Is that how project DINGUS came about?”
John finally reacted to the words spoken by the representative of India, ‘Shekar’, and glared at him.
“DINGUS was made purely with human technology. The aliens had nothing to do with it.”
“And how should we trust you after your leaders hid such a big thing from the rest of us?”
The representative of China, ‘Chen’ glared back at John, daring him to deny the accusation.
“...Then what do you propose we do to prove ourselves?”
“Give us the plans for Project DINGUS and whatever else that terrorist group MECH was working on that your government kept to itself.”
“Impossible. DINGUS was created by the minds of the American people-“
“-Who only contributed money and resources, the true project was worked on by the immigrants from across the world, including China, which means that we have just as much right to the project as you do-“
“-As if! There is no way we are giving you those things-“
“-Then prepare to be voted out of the UN-“
“ENOUGH! BOTH OF YOU!”
The representative of the UK, ‘Ben’ stood up and stopped the others from starting any more conflicts.
“Right now, we cannot afford to be divided, even if the USA does deserve the criticism.”
“True. We have bigger concerns to address right now.”
The representative of France, ‘Renard’, spoke up to support James.
A sentiment that was shared across the other representatives, like ‘Ryu’ of Japan, ‘James’ of Australia, and many more.
Finally, with the bickering and posturing done, the men and women of the world got down to business as John walked toward the main screen in the room, displaying the live data from many of NASA, ISRO, Roscosmos, CNSA, ESA, JAXA, KARI, and every other space and terrestrial agency in the world, all which showed the same two images.
The first one showed the deep scans made with specialized equipment hastily cooked up by the USA recently, showing the core of their planet. An image that was quite contrary to what they were taught growing up.
The other image showed deep space images taken by their space agencies, which showed six anomalous objects near Jupiter and a few others in orbit around their very planet and moon.
John took a deep breath and started explaining in detail about the first image, the first real scan taken by Humanity of their core, which revealed a literal evil god whose body made up the core of their world.
Understandably, the group of representatives was quite shaken with the news and the following revelations, but since the entity that they codenamed NBE-N, Non-Biological Extraterrestrial- Neutral, also known by the group of NBE-F (Non-Biological Extraterrestrial-Friendly), the Autobots, as Maximus, had already taken care of that issue, allegedly, they decided to focus more on the other issue.
“So, we are in consensus that they are some kind of ships or non-natural objects, yes?”
At Chen’s words, the other representatives nodded while John gave a glum look, knowing that the USA had just lost a major advantage over the other nations of the world. But the circumstances demanded full disclosure, so he had no choice but to speak up.
“While the full information is still classified, not to mention that NBE-N has not given out the full information about what they are, we do know that he has command over them right now and has stopped these anomalies from approaching Earth.”
“Any reason why he hasn’t given out the full information yet?”
John looked at Shekar and slowly spoke out, feeling pain with every bit of information he was forced to reveal.
“Apparently, there is a possible conflict brewing within the NBE-F group, especially between the older NBEs and the younger NBEs, with the main point of contention being who deserves to be the rightful leader of their group.”
“....Great. So now, we also have to deal with a possible alien civil war within an alien civil war!”
“....Unlikely, but the possibility is there.”
“Then, we need to prepare.”
At Chen’s words, Shekar gave him a meaningful glance and a subtle nod, one that the Chinese representative returned.
Meanwhile, John looked at this unspoken communication with nervousness and suspicion.
Ryu looked towards Chen with a curious look.
“What do you suggest?”
“If I may?”
At Chen’s gesture, John reluctantly nodded and headed back to his seat, leaving the podium to Chen and Shekar.
With a few clicks and rerouting, a few different images and their data appeared on the screen, showing images from across history and objects that made no sense to them without context.
“We all know that our world is littered with anomalous technological objects across history, from the ancient orb found in Greece, to the latest discovery of ‘alternative fuel’ in Russia. We always knew that these things were of alien origin because humanity simply did not have the tools to create some of the things that we came across.”
“That is why China, India, and Russia have been working together in secret to try and understand the truth of this situation. And fortunately, our collaboration bore fruit.”
Shekar nodded at Chen’s signal and pulled up an image of what looked like a regular telecommunication tower.
“While it looks similar to a regular tower, this is one of the few successes that we managed to produce in the last decade during our collaboration.”
“We gave it the codename of NBE detection device, but with the recent data shared with us about the aliens-“
At Chen’s nod towards John, the American representative could not help but look away in guilt and anger.
“We have a better name. We will call it the Energon detector.”
Under the astonished looks of the other representatives, Shekar walked forward and tapped on the screen, showing a video where a group of scientists used a neon blue liquid and injected it into a mechanical arm. Then, using that mechanical arm, they picked up a strange cylindrical object and pointed it at a colossal data center, making it shoot out a beam that somehow transmitted petabytes of data into the data center.
“As you can see, while we always had our own anomalous technology across the world, we did not know how to activate them since we were missing the key ingredient. Energon. A secret that the USA had hoarded for a long time. If it were not for the Energon Detector, we would never have discovered the anomalous energy source since it blends in so well with our world.”
“But now, with Energon finally within humanity’s reach, we have a chance to protect ourselves against the aliens should they turn hostile on us.”
“To that end, we have a proposal.”
Sergei stood up and walked towards Chen and Shekar. Together, they stood in front of the other citizens and put forward a proposal.
“We propose that all the countries present here contribute towards putting together a special task force, dedicated to protecting our planet from the alien threat, should they turn against us. And if they don’t attack humanity, then this force will be responsible for confiscating anomalous technology, engaging in diplomacy with the aliens, and safeguarding Earth’s interests.”
“This task force will be independent and will not be, under any circumstances, involved in the political games of the world. They will answer only to a council made of all of us representatives, and their actions will be completely up to their commander’s discretion. If we want to make any major changes to the organization, we will all take a vote on it.”
“No borders will ever be closed to this organization, and no one will be beyond their reach as long as their actions are reasonable. With such autonomy, we believe that this task force will have more freedom to protect our people and our interests.”
The representatives of the other countries looked at each other until Ryu finally put out the words that everyone had in their minds.
“And what will this organization be called?”
“While the name is not yet official, we are going with the Non-biological Extraterrestrial Species Treaty in hopes of establishing a diplomatic relationship with them, but also preparing for the worst-case scenario.”
Sergei grinned at John, who looked uncomfortable at the look.
“And since our American friends love their acronyms so much, we can call it NEST.”
From there, the discussion continued. However, this would mark the moment where humanity’s fate shifted completely from its original trajectory.
But will this change be a good thing or a bad one? That is yet to be seen.
Comments
Basically, yes. And not just the eastern countries. Everyone is a hypocrite and is only out to protect their own interests, just like in real life. Except that this world is a slightly more optimistic one where they are coming together to pool their resources into one organization, while IRL, they would rather nuke each other into oblivion in the name of mutually assured destruction and keeping their rivals from getting stronger.

2025-08-03 13:24:35 +0000 UTCNormally, yes. But since Maximus returned and his spark signature is so rediculously powerful that no amount of shielding can cover it up. So it was child's play for the Decepticons to trace him and then open a bridge to Megatron's location, all the while, Megatron was on the Cybertronian equivalent of 'Hold the phone' with the line always connected to Soundwave.
