The Monster of Kaon (Transformers Si): Chapter 66

I am angry, no, scratch that.

I am livid!

Glaring down at the younglings who avoided looking me in the eye for one reason or another, I had to spend a lot of effort on controlling my emotions.

“Do you know what you did wrong?”

“...We admit, we may have been a bit hasty, but we still think-“

“Wrong answer.”

Arcee fell silent at my words.

Normally, it would have been a comical sight to see the younger Autobots kneeling in front of me while we were aboard the Nemesis, the ancient titan’s corpse that my foolish child and his companions were parading across the universe.

However, I cannot bring myself to laugh right now, especially when these foolish younglings nearly caused a diplomatic disaster.

Humanity is already on edge with what Chela did recently, something that I haven't even found the opertunity to clear up until now, since my meeting with the so-called NEST is still a day away.

And now, these guys showed up without any warning, spooking the Human governments even more since they had been keeping tabs on locan space ever since Chela’s stunt.

If it were not for Fowler’s swift actions and his reassuring them that they were friendlies, who knows what would have happened?

Putting aside even that issue, the very action of pulling a fast one behind Optimus’s back shows that these guys are exceptionally reckless.

The excuse that they were born in war and only ever knew how to fight can only shield them so far when their stupidity nearly put us in a position close to war with humanity as a whole, even before I had the chance for any diplomatic talks.

Something like this cannot be accepted, no matter what, so I decided to put my foot down.

I activated the Forge of Solus Prime, filling the room with its noise, while also opening up my chestplate to expose my T-Cog. Then, I transmitted my Titan codes into their very systems with my power, making them wince at the forceful use of my power.

“Your actions today nearly brought about a war between our species and the Humans. For that reason alone, I have the authority to declare you all traitors and ban you from ever setting foot on Cybertron or its allied worlds ever again. However, considering your age and what you have been through since your birth, I am taking pity on you and not taking such harsh actions, yet.”

“But-“

“Silence!”

My roar made Bulkhead silent again, along with the other younger bots, including Wheeljack and Ultra Magnus.

“You all think I am trying to usurp Orion’s authority? That I am trying to take over the Autobots? Fine. That is exactly what I am going to do from now on.”

“On my athority, as the Knight of Cybertron, as the wielder of the Forge of Solus Prime, hence receiving her acknowledgement, and the owner of Amalgamous Prime’s T-Cog, winning his recognition, I hereby use my athority as the leader of the Cybertronian race, the highest ranking memeber of the Cybertronian society, as the wielder of two relics of the Thirteen Primes, which makes me outrank Optimus Prime since he only wields one artifact of the Primes, the Matrix, As the former leader of the Ascenticons, as the current commander of the Titans, as the leader of the last remaining member of the Explorer guild, as the former Admiral of the Cybertronian Navy, as the leader of the Cybertronian Programming Cast, as the rightful ruler of Kaon via trials of combat, and finally, as the current contractor of Primus himself.”

I ignored the drastically changing faces of all the bots present here, along with the dread and awe on Optimus and Elita’s faces, who were probably imagining something very bad right now.

“I hereby declare the Autobot-Decepticon war over. From now on, any fighting between the two groups is outlawed, and anyone who dares go against my words will face my wrath and the judgment of Primus himself!”

For a few seconds, no one spoke until Wheeljack snorted.

“Primus himself, huh? And how is he going to punish us when he was poisoned by Megatron-“

“Did I give you permission to speak? Wrecker?”

“..I don’t take orders-“

“Down.”

He did not even get the chance to speak anymore as Tarn’s whisper resounded in the room, followed by the former wrecker falling to the ground with wide optics, unable to resist Tarn’s outlier power.

Such is the terror of those born with outlier powers, and why Sentinel and his council hated us and were jealous of us.

A fact that the younger generation has forgotten, since no outliers were ever born within their generation.

I glared coldly at the now terrified Younglings.

“From now on, nobody gets to go against my command. Because if you do, I will personally throw you into the core of Cybertron so that you can answer directly to Primus himself.”

“And before I forget, wrecker, to answer your question, I have already cleansed the core of our world of its corruption and restored Cybertron before I arrived here. Cybertron is once again a life-bearing world after I restored the All-Spark to its rightful place.”

Once again, my words startled the bots, mainly the older generation, who stared at me with shock.

“Maximus? Is it really true? Our home is restored?”

“...Yes, Orion. I have restored Primus to his former glory. Although there is still something that he asked me to do before Cybertron is completely restored to what it once was.”

..Decepticons. Set course for Cybertron. We are going home.”

I felt like smiling as I could sense the joy and hope within Soundwave’s emotionless tone.

“Not yet, old friend. I still need Megatronus and your forces here. There are a lot of things that we need to do. Speaking of, who is the new guest?”

At my words, Soundwave displayed the image on his faceplate, showing me a rather thin bot whose body structure indicated that he was a seeker, and given the Decepticon symbol on him, he must be one of theirs.

But why is he sneaking about on his very own ship, and why did he arrive through a hidden entrance?

“Starscream. Traitor. No longer one of us.”

“Starscream? You mean that scientist from back then?"

Soundwave simply nodded at my words.

“Former chief scientist of Trypticon station. Part of a trine with Skywarp and Thundercracker.”

I remember now.

The Starscream of this universe was quite different from what I remember from my human life, so much so that I had long since forgotten his existence.

The Starscream of this universe is a cowardly and opportunistic bot who will do anything for power. His nature stemmed from his insecurity of being part of a trine where his other two partners were outliers with great powers, with Skywarp being able to teleport, and Thundercracker being able to create sonic booms on command. The fool never realized that he, too, was an outlier, as shown by his green spark, albeit with his powers remaining unseen and unidentified for some reason.

That being said, he truly was a remarkable scientist whom I once wanted to recruit into the Ascenticons back in the day, an idea that I later gave up when I learned of his nature.

But now that this guy has shown us sneakily on the Nemesis, perhaps I should see if his nature has changed in any way?

With a decision made, I did not even spare a glance at the Autobots and started moving towards Starscream’s location.

Comments

Never trust TFP Starscream ! He will always find way to betray you. But you can't leave him on earth he will cause too much damage.

DancingMonkey65

Huh neat. A Knight of Cybertron outranks the Prime himself. That's funny, lol. Tho it makes sense since he does have more Prime Artefacts than Optimus. And those young sparks got disciplined well. Hopefully it sticks. I don't hold out hope for Wheeljack.
