The Monster of Kaon (Transformers Si): Chapter 71

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
With the Autobot base, deep inside one of its many rooms, I hammered away at the pile of materials gathered for me as I had requested.
The powerful roar of the Forge of Solus Prime filled the room as my construction bots took care of carefully arranging the molecular structure of my creation with their nanites.
No matter how many times I see it, it is truly a beautiful sight.
The anomalous energies of the Forge gently and gradually transmuting the materials into my desired shape and function, while the nanites of my bots forcefully rearranged the internal structure, taking advantage of the material’s malleable state achieved with the anomalous energy.
A perfect balance that reduced the power draw from the Forge while maximising the gain.
All the time it took me to fine-tune this process was really worth it.
With the final few strikes done, I took a step back and admired my creation. One that will change the way my people live from now on.
I got the idea for it based on the Green Lanterns from the many fictions I used to read back when I was human. Particularly, their central battery provided them with energy.
As a homage to the idea, I created this device in a similar shape, although its purpose would be completely different.
In essence, this device will harness the Zero-Point Energy from space, combine it with my Synthetic Energon, and produce the anomalous energy that powers the relics of the Primes and indeed, the Primes themselves.
The real beauty of this machine, however, is not in the generation of the anomalous energy. It is what it will do with said energy.
Looking at the neon green glow radiating off of the battery, I sent a ping to someone that I never wanted to face again.
It was as if she was just nearby since the moment I sent the ping, the doors opened, and a particular Arachnoid walked in, refusing to meet my stare.
“You wanted to see me?”
“....Yes. I am done completing an experiment, and I want you to test it.”
Airachnid gave me a bitter smile at those words.
“So, you want me to test this out so that nobody you care about gets harmed if something goes wrong?”
“In essence? Yes.”
The way her expressions fell at my cold words made my spark twist with pain, but I held back my emotions and waited as she walked towards the Battery.
There was once a time when she was one of my closest confidants. Someone that I trusted with my life.
Maybe, just maybe, I might have even loved her at one point, just like I did Codexa.
However, those days have long since passed, especially after her betrayal of everything we ever stood for.
Airachnid is just as much of a monster as I remember from my human memories. There is no doubt about it. My brain module knows as much and has already formed many, many contingency plans in case she ever turns against us again.
And yet, my spark still hesitates. Still believes in the young, tortured spark that I rescued from the Institute along with the Combaticons. The one who was subjected to cruel and inhumane torture simply because she was an unusual beastformer. Someone who was a warm figure that, at one point, became similar to a carrier, the Cybertronian equivalent of a mother, to many of the younger bots in the Ascenticons alongside Elita and the others.
Watching as the Arachnoid placed her palm on the glowing jewel, I could not help the twinge of fear that shot through my body at the prospect of any harm that would befall her. But I ruthlessly crushed those feelings, reminding me once again that this was not the Airachnid I knew, not anymore.
As the anomalous energy flowed through the femme, my powers kept watch over her body, making sure that nothing was going wrong as the machine worked its magic.
In reality, it only took a few seconds, but it felt like a long time passed before she released a breath and stepped away from the machine, staggering a bit as the overwhelming presence of the anomalous energy left her.
Instantly, I moved on instinct and held her shoulder, keeping her steady, before I realized what I was doing and let her go.
Ignoring her disappointed but hopeful look, I concentrated back on my power, looking through her T-Cog.
It was only when I confirmed that the changes I wanted were made to her that I nodded at her.
“Go ahead. You know what to do.”
She said nothing, but I felt her T-Cog activate, sending anomalous energy throughout her chassis as she started to shrink, as her body rippled just like mine does when I transform.
Within seconds, her Cybermatter body shifted, turning into organic skin. Her hull changed, becoming skin as hair sprouted from her head. Her purple optics changed, becoming enchanting purple eyes.
In the place of the Arachnoid now stood a human woman with long black hair and purple eyes.
“Hm. Looks like it worked. Although we might have to keep stock of some human clothing, given that you did not gain a set when you transformed.”
Airachnid just gave me an amused look before her skin rippled again, and a simple shirt and pants formed on her.
Huh!? Neat. Looks like the change to her T-Cog went far better than I anticipated.
Shaking my head to get rid of those thoughts, I turned back to the machine with a thoughtful look.
The plan for this was simple. Once I leave after reviving Cybertron completely and establishing a proper government, I want my people to be able to change into the form of any natives of primitive or advanced worlds that they stumble upon.
Why? So that they can understand the natives better, live life in their shoes, and understand their concerns as their own, so that they can form a proper relationship, so that they can understand these organic species better and live in harmony, avoiding the tragedies of war.
So that my people, my friends, don’t repeat the mistakes of their predecessors due to ignorance.
That is why I designed this Battery based on my own T-Cog, albeit severely limited.
Once a Cybertronian comes into contact with this battery, he or she will have their T-Cog modified by the anomalous energy within, giving them a new Alt-Form based on the organic species they want to mimic.
The limitation here is that once the alt-form is chosen, it cannot be changed until they come in contact with the battery again, unlike my T-Cog, which can change my form on the fly.
Shaking my head to get rid of those thoughts, I turned back to Airachnid and willed myself to change as well, turning into my human form that looked no different from an average human, with pale skin, blond hair, and blue eyes, typical of this side of the Earth.
Once I reached Airachnid's height, I started going through her systems and diagnostics, making sure nothing was wrong, as I used my hands to trace her new form, looking for any imperfections.
“Skin feels natural. Systems read it as true organic flesh. I can feel the nerves and veins beneath the skin and the muscle strands. Looks like the Organic Mimicry Systems are working as intended.”
I looked into her eyes, ignoring the way she blushed at my touch, although I did make a note of her reaction.
‘Looks like involuntary reactions based on organic mimicry are working as intended as well.’
I stared into her eyes, watching her pupils contract and respond just as a human’s would based on light exposure and emotions.
“Optical reactions are within the organic range.”
With the exterior examination done, I used my power to scan her internals, taking the readings and comparing them with human anatomy and Cybertronian internals.
“Most of the internals have transformed into their organic analogs as intended, while keeping their Cybertronian toughness. The Spark is perfectly hidden within the T-Cog, which has taken the shape of the Heart. The Brain module is perfectly mimicking the organic brain. All systems are working at full capacity.”
With a deep breath, I looked at Airachnid, taking in her form, which was created based on her C.N.A. Translated into organic D.N.A.
Long, beautiful black hair, a shapely form, and enchanting, expressive purple eyes. She would be a breathtaking beauty no matter where she went on this planet.
Too bad that this beautiful exterior could never make up for how much she broke my heart and how much evil is buried within her own.
With a shake of my head to forget about those depressing thoughts, I turned back to my original form, making Airachnid do the same as I turned away from her and walked out of the room.
Time to get my friends and children their human forms while we wait for that idiot Starscream to gather the Omega Keys.

Now I am wondering if Fortress Maximus can turn an organic being into a cybertronian?
