Within the void of space, a rift tore open the fabric of space-time before reforming into a swirling portal, a signature move of a wormhole bursting into existence.
The colossal swirling portal pulsed for barely a few minutes before a colossal ship that was a blend of organic flows and machine perfection arrived out of it.
Within that ship, colossal beings made of organic metal operated their ship, heading straight for the nearest planet, which was also made of metal.
“Space Bridge exit confirmed. Location triangulated. We are at Cybertron System, my lord.”
One of the creatures, a Quintesson soldier, spoke to his leader.
The High Commander, part of the Merchant-Class of the Quintesson hierarchy, the one responsible for maintaining the deal made between the Quintessons and a certain someone, simply nodded at those words.
“Good. The Judges want the shipment back as soon as possible since Sentinel owes us a large chunk of the resource thanks to the ‘deficit’ from last cycle’s shipment. Thankfully, they are still unaware that we have been skimming some of the Energon for ourselves, so we can still put the blame on the primitive lifeform that fashions himself a leader.”
The many Soldier-Class Quintessons chuckled at those words, knowing that their leader was right.
Ever since the deal between Sentinel, the aide of the Primes, and the High Commander was struck nearly 50 cycles ago, the Quintessons have been enjoying the fruits of Cybertron’s labor without even needing to do anything.
The High Commander would skim off some of the Energon from the shipment and sell it on the Quintesson homeworld as ‘spoils of war’ while the rest went to the Judges, the highest authority and Class in their society, for them to pocket most of it before the rest is distributed to the species as a whole.
It would have been a diabolical move for the survival of their race if not for the fact that Energon is merely treated as a delicacy in their race, as opposed to the Cybertronians, who simply cannot live without said resource.
Once again, the Quintesson Merchant-class could not help but be grateful for the idiocy of their creator, Quintus Prime, for making them partially organic, which allowed them to survive, sometimes even thrive, on alternate food sources aside from Energon.
As the ship continued moving through the void, heading for the planet of metal, they were unaware that something seriously damning for their race was about to occur.
For their arrival through Space Bridge had coincidentally masked the opening of another Space Bridge, or rather, a Dimensional Bridge, beneath the surface of Cybertron.
Within the many inverted towers of the City of Icaon, deep inside the Archival Records, a portal sprang into existence from which three bots walked out.
Their body structure was so different from the native bots that they would easily stand out in any crowd, even amongst those in high society who are born with T-Cogs, distinguishing them from the lower casts who are born without one.
And it was not just their body structure that was strange. Their very presence was so intimidating that they could easily pass for powerful warriors, not to mention their size and weapons that they openly held with them.
Especially the leader of this group, who was so tall that he could easily pass for a Prime.
The femme of the group looked at her surroundings with a confused look as her blue optics turned neon green.
“Um, Maximus? Are you seeing this?”
The massive bot held a scowl as he stared up at the heavens with a lost look.
“Primus, you dirty cheater! You said I would be free of my responsibilities after reviving Cybertron. So why the hell did you send me to another Cybertron!? As my first stop!?”
The femme and the bot that were both the bot known as Maximus’s sparklings, simply gave an amused and exasperated look towards their Sire, who continued muttering curses towards their creator god.
The bot sighed and patted the back of his sire, bringing him back to reality.
“Maybe we should look around first before making any accusations?”
Maximus grumbled at those words before pointing at the nearby rack of data shards.
“What is there to look around for? Megatronus? Look at that ancient format of the data shards, look at the systems around us. This is clearly the technological format from before the Golden Age. Not to mention how I can sense the countless sparks outside this place. There is no doubt about it, we are on Cybetron.”
Megatronus, the former leader of the Decepticons, simply chuckled at those words.
The ancient bot that brought untold suffering because of his grief could not help but feel amused at his sire’s words. The distance from his true home and past allowed him to shed all of his guilt, rage, and other such negative emotions, and allowed his true self to emerge once again after countless years.
“Even still, why not explore around and see what this version of Cybertron has to offer? This was only meant to be a temporary stop, after all.”
Windblade, the femme, and the younger sparkling of Maximus nodded enthusiastically.
“Yeah! Isn’t it because this is only a test run that you used the closest set of Dimensional coordinates provided by Primus in terms of dimensional distance?”
Maximus, formally known as Fortress Maximus, the Monster of Kaon, simply sighed at the words of his sparklings before nodding.
“Fine. Let’s go see what this world has to offer.”
And so, the three bots that would change the very course of history took their first steps into this version of Cybertron.

Agreed! Even though its a shame they wont be able to save the original 13 Primes.
