Incremental DW a90.2M
Added 2024-01-26 19:28:10 +0000 UTCThis week made two things very obvious to me. On the bad side, I am definitely very burnt out and much in need of my upcoming break next month. Often even when I had clear ideas for what to write and how to write it I just didn't have the energy or focus to make it coalesce.
On the good side, it reminded me of how far I've come since I started Devious World. Back in the day when I started, I thought I was doing really well to get one passage a day written, and fairly short passages at that. This week I got about that done but much longer passages, and it felt galling to be doing so little compared to my usual regular amount in recent years (at least when I'm on my game). Realizing that even when suffering from burnout I'm still managing at a level of where I started (back when I was much more inexperienced and also badly ill) is sort of its own bit of encouragement.
ANYWAY. This week we've got some more Jamie stuff, specifically him trying the Dragonfruit Devil Zoo Juice Soda from AppAssure.
