Woah. Mind blown. But I have one better for you. If the Pinkie the main5 saved during their test was a clone, then what about the Pinkie in cognito in that interview episode? Could that be the real Pinkie?? Maybe she somehow was missed and escaped that fate? Then, when about to reconnect with her friends, she discovered they already had a Pinkie with them, and they were having just as much if not more of a blast as they did with her. Dejected, the real Pinkie left Ponyville and sought out a new life in Manehattan. Or maybe she went somewhere else first, but got caught up in some trouble, so maybe now she's hiding in Manehattan to run from the law or something. Either one works.
