Lethal League Blaze ultrawide solution

Update 2: It is not compatible with the Steam version but I examined the Assembly file sent by a WSGF user and found that the solution for that one is pretty simple. Documented the instructions here.
I'm working on releasing an ultrawide solution for this 2018 game. Surprisingly, I could not a find a single post mentioning ultrawide among its Steam discussions, and not a single workaround in 3 years despite the game having had over 2,500 concurrent players at its peak on Steam. I haven't had requests for this but I thought I'd still give it a look considering the Game Pass release and me having access to that version.
The game is on Unity and I managed to boil down the solution to a very simple change of one of its crucial functions, which could easily work as a patch but it will still have to be a trainer due to the nature of Microsoft Store apps. My aim right now is to test the solution more thoroughly to ensure that no important UI elements are off the screen. So far they are all visible. I'll update the post with a link if all goes well.
