Summary: Working at a coffee shop that only opened in the late hours of the night was the most exciting thing about your life, really. You never had that many friends, your love life was nonexistent, and you just couldn’t explain the feeling of not belonging that chased you no matter where you tried to find your place. It was when seven very handsome strangers came into your life that weird things started happening around you and within you. Could they be the ones to fill in what’s been missing? Or would getting involved with them and their world put you in danger?

Genre: Series, fluff, angst, smut, non idol au, ABO, werewolf au.

Chapter Warnings: Good luck! lmao (this chapter is unedited, so mind the typos!)

WC: 8K

Kimee: It’s been a whole month, girl! Aren’t you tired of your parents yet?

You: I miss you! I’m not exactly with my parents, I’m in Dalju. Things are nice over here. I don’t know when I’m coming back just yet.

Kimee: I miss you too >.< And where the heck is Dalju? I don’t think I ever heard of it lol

You: Very small town, like time stopped and everyone just kept living on. I have a few family members here…

Kimee: I guess it’s a good thing you’re not here.

You: Why? What’s up?

Kimee: Ah… Your neighbors? Those weird dudes? They have been to the store, looking for you. I told them I don’t know where you are, tho.

You: Please, please, please be careful with them.

Kimee: I always am!

Your heart was on your throat.

Partially because the Southside wolves were still looking for you, but mostly because you were worried about your friend. You hoped they wouldn’t do anything to her, in hopes of getting to you, but with all you had heard about that wolf faction from the boys, you knew they were capable of horrible things.

"Are you ready to go, little human?" the knock on your bedroom door made you jump. "Everything okay?"

With the most recent concerning news you just received from Kimee, you completely forgot you were supposed to meet Namjoon downstairs ten minutes ago.

"Yeah, everything is fine." you lied, and you knew he knew it was a lie too, but Namjoon never pushed you.

He knew you’d tell him if it was important.

"Sorry, I got a little distracted." you waved your phone as an excuse for being late, getting up from your bed so you could finally leave.

"It's okay. If anything I'm a little relieved it wasn't Jungkook keeping you hostage." the pack leader chuckled.

"Well, in his defense–"

"I only did it once!" Jungkook’s yell was heard from the other side of the wall you shared.

Namjoon huffed, slightly annoyed.

Jungkook had a way of getting what he wanted, you noticed rather quickly. Not only was he cute as hell, he was also the youngest one in the pack, which meant the older members had a tendency of spoiling him.

But not when it came to you.

And not when they were all, quite literally, competing for your affections. Which meant none of the other six werewolves let him get away with his antics, and it made Jungkook rebel a little more.

Like last week, when you were supposed to go out with Joon –a simple supermarket outing, nothing too important– but Jungkook had made it into your room before you had the chance to leave and the two of you got rather occupied.

But not this time; after getting an earful from the alpha leader, the maknae had kept his hands and lips to himself.

Namjoon helped you dress in your fluffy Teddy jacket, the latest gift from Jimin, and dropped to one knee to help tie your sneakers for you.

There was something powerful about having an alpha, a pack leader, on his knees for you, but it was the side smirk pulling on Namjoon’s plump lips that made shivers run up and down your spine, as if he heard your thoughts.

The man held you close to him all the way down the balcony steps and out of the house, but instead of going toward one of the parked cars at the entrance, he led you to the side of the cabin.

“Where are we going?” you were asking, a little confused.

“Never been on a hike before?”

The leader was already jogging between the first rows of trees, looking over his shoulder to get you moving. And you weren’t the most athletic person by any means, but you were living among wolves. And of course one of them would drag you into the woods for a hike up the mountain in the middle of the morning.

You could already see the steep trail Namjoon was taking you on, but you weren’t about to complain. Give it five minutes, maybe. At least you were wearing the appropriate clothes for a hike; black leggings, comfortable sneakers and your coat to keep you warm from the cold.

Your companion went ahead on the trail and you followed, using the tree trunks to hold yourself and careful not to trip on any protruding roots. You were running out of breath quicker than you anticipated, but the trail was nice. It was obviously not used much, there wasn’t an actual path for you to follow and you’d definitely get lost if Namjoon weren’t guiding you.

The crunching of fallen leaves under your feet was surprisingly relaxing, and the air around you was so pure it was easier to breathe in than out. Birds were chirping every now and then and you could hear bigger animals running in the distance; Jungkook liked to hunt wild boars and deers, dragging them home for Seokjin or Yoongi to cook for your meals.

“Are you okay there, little human?” Namjoon turned to check after the first fifteen minutes of walking up.

“Oh, good, you remember that’s what I am.” you heaved through a laugh, catching up to him as he waited for you. “I already don’t have long ass legs as yours, let alone wolf stamina.”

Namjoon was laughing, dimples poking his pretty face, a raspy sound that brought butterflies to your tummy. “Do you pay attention to my legs a lot?”

“Don’t do that.” you waved the air, hands on your waist as you almost folded in on yourself. “Don’t flirt with me while I already can’t breathe, it’s very unfair.”

“Want me to turn so you can ride my back?” he offered, still laughing, and your eyes widened.

“Would that work?”

“Sure. But I don’t have any extra clothes if something happens to these...”

You thought about it for a second, maybe a second too long, imagining Namjoon undressing before turning into his wolf form. You shook your head to scare away the thought, this wasn’t the time nor the place to get all hot and bothered thinking about the alpha like that and Namjoon must have thought you were saying no to his question and offered you his hand instead.

You took it in a heartbeat, maybe faster than you should have to keep your composure. But out of all of the boys, the leader was the least touchy one, never really holding you for too long and his scenting usually came in wolf form. You didn’t know if something was holding him back or if he was just that considerate and didn’t want to push you.

Namjoon was walking slower now, and his warm hand on yours was enough to pull you along, taking a little of your efforts off. You walked for another ten minutes and Namjoon made a left on a really big tree, reaching a small clearing.

The grass was short, covered in leaves that would blow with the wind. A big trunk was laying down, most likely toppled over by a storm, and served as a sitting spot for you and Namjoon.

You were feeling a little hot, after all the exercise, so you took off your teddy coat and tied it around your waist. Namjoon was already wearing short sleeves and gym shorts, which brought a question to your mind.

“Are you always hot?”

Namjoon turned to you with a cocked head and raised eyebrow and you felt your cheeks burn, so you tried to fix it:

“I mean, your body… You know, temperature wise, not–not hotness–”

“Our body temperature is higher than an average human, yes. And our hearts are faster, and our lung capacity is higher to allow us to run faster and for a longer time without tiring.” he explained patiently. “You humans are so weak compared to us.”

“Damn, Joon, thanks.” you rolled your eyes with a soft laugh. “Can I ask something else?”

“You can ask me anything you want, little human.”

Namjoon was sitting next to you on the fallen trunk, his backpack resting on the grass floor, between his legs. He gave you a water bottle and you took long gulps before speaking:

“You and the others... you're a pack.”

“Uh huh.”

“But you're not related?”

“No. We feel like brothers now, like family. Closer than our own, I guess. But we're not the same blood, no. We are bonded.” he said, and you picked up on that last word to ask about it later.

“And your families... are they part of the pack too?”

“Not exactly.” Namjoon received your bottle back and brought it to his lips to drink from. You didn’t know how to explain it, but the simple action brought a nice feeling to your chest. “We have what we call familial packs. Which is the pack you're born into, with your parents and whoever is associated with them. When you grow up, you have the choice of staying within your familial pack, or joining another one.”

“Ohh.” you said just to let him know you were listening.

“It’s more common for wolves to leave their familial packs after they find their mate. Usually an omega or a beta will leave their familial if their mate is an alpha and join their pack instead. And the Alpha will leave their familial if there already is a leading alpha within his pack.”

Namjoon never had to explain any of this to anybody before. All of his friends were werewolves and that was something you kind of knew from birth. And he never even cogitated the possibility of ever explaining this to a human. But you were paying so much attention, hanging off his every word, with such a pretty sparkle to your eyes, that he wanted you to keep asking him questions.

“How did Bangtan come together, then?”

“I don’t wanna bore you with the details, but it started with me and Yoongi.” he said and you nodded again, even more interested now that the other pack members were being mentioned. “Yoongi and I were really close friends growing up, neither of us were particularly happy with the way our alphas were leading the pack, it was my father in my case. But it’s really hard to leave a familial pack when you don’t have another one you can join, so Yoongi said that if I left mine, he would follow.”

“He’s older, though… Wouldn’t that make him your alpha?”

It was interesting –and slightly dizzying– to think about Namjoon submitting to Yoongi in any way.

“Hm. It’s not really about age, as much as it is the want to lead. Yoongi just wanted to live peacefully, so he never challenged me for it.” the man told you as the tip of his shoe kicked a fallen acorn. “Hoseok and Jin came next. Then we found Jungkook and he was just fourteen, scrawny alpha, big eyes, too damn shy, we thought he was an omega.” he continued with amusement and you laughed because you could not see that. “Then Jimin and Tae. We thought–”

“What?” you pressed when he stopped talking, but your curiosity would not let it go.

“We thought they were mates.”

“Like… Romantically?”

“Hm.” Namjoon nodded again. “Those two are… really close. But they are not mated. They say they are soulmates.”

There was more to it, you were sure. But it wasn’t Namjoon’s place to tell you, so you didn’t push him again, not wanting to make him uncomfortable. If you really wanted to know what went on between Taehyung and Jimin, enough for the other pack members to think they were mates, you’d ask them yourself.

Namjoon slipped the water bottle into his backpack again and got up, telling you this wasn’t the final destination for your date and you got up after him with a new fire to your step. You wiped your butt to get rid of any pieces of trunk bark and kept your coat around your waist, feeling a lot warmer after sitting so close to Namjoon for a little bit.

Ten more minutes later and you finally reached the spot the alpha was leading you to.

There were some very big rocks at the side of the mountain, high enough for you to see the whole city of Dalju from up there; all of the wooden hanoks that made up the townhouses, the town square and the small buildings. Not to mention all of the mountains around, the colorful trees in many shades of orange, yellow and red.

It was the view that took your breath away and you wished you had your phone with you to take pictures of it. But besides using it to send the occasional ‘I’m alive’ texts to your parents and Kimee, you barely used the device. You had so much to distract yourself with, ever since you started living with the boys, that you hardly even remembered to charge it.

“I have one more question.” you were announcing as Joon tapped the space next to him on one of the rocks and helped you climb it.

“Shoot.” the leader was opening his backpack again, this time taking a couple tubs of food for you to share.

“Is it common for a pack to be made of only alphas?”

“Not at all.” he chuckled and those damn dimples were back. “Guess people always thought we would have killed each other by now. But that’s what makes us so strong. We shouldn't work, but we do. We have our moments for sure, but we listen to each other. I might be pack leader, but everyone has a voice.”

He opened the tubs of food, letting you choose whatever you wanted first. Namjoon couldn’t cook for shit, but he’d be damned if he didn’t try. His wolf was extremely annoying while preparing this food, nothing was ever good enough for him. In times like that, Namjoon just wanted the animal part of him to shut up and let the human part focus.

You picked up a crooked tuna sandwich and the damn wolf almost purred inside his mind. We can provide. We can feed her.

“You’re a good leader, Joonie.”

“I don’t know about that.” Namjoon avoided your eyes as you complimented him, feeling the pang of guilt for trying to push you away once, to leave Seoul without you. If it weren't for the maknaes going after you that night you were attacked, he would have.

“I do. I don’t think Bangtan could have a better leader.” you said and he scoffed. “I'm serious! You’re compassionate, dedicated, you're controlled and you listen to us–”

“Us?” there was no way you couldn’t hear the rumbling coming from his chest.

“Uh– yeah, I uh. I guess I see myself as part of your pack now?” you said and waved a hand, rushing to add: “I’m sorry, does that offend you?”

“No, not at all.” in fact, his wolf was never fucking happier, all chirps and croons.

Pack omega, ask her, ask her to be pack omega.

“What’s pack omega?” you asked him while picking up the other half of the sandwich.

Namjoon stared at you, slightly confused and absolutely incredulous. Did you hear him? Maybe one of the boys told you about that term before and it’s a coincidence you asked about it now.

“Where did you hear that?” he asked you instead.

You gave him a little shrug, chewing on the snack before saying: “Heard it somewhere, I guess.”

“Well, to put it simply, sometimes a smaller pack that is made of betas and alphas will, uh. Share a mate. It usually works better when that mate is an omega, because they are the more nurturing and giving ones. They usually know what the pack needs and they provide it, one way or another.”

“Oh.”

“It’s actually a very sought out thing, but it's not as common.” he explained and you would make sure to bake him some cookies for being so patient with you and answering all of your questions. “Usually an omega will mate one pack member and the mere idea of sharing that mate could cause fights. Wolves are very territorial. And when it comes to an omega mate… it could end in bloodshed.”

“And you guys never… looked for one?” you distracted yourself with plucking the leaves and stem from a berry before popping it into your mouth.

“It’s not something you can really look for.”

“Semantics.”

“We thought we found one. We thought you could be one.”

The mere thought of being a pack omega to Bangtan, of belonging to the pack and giving them what they needed made you really wish you could be a wolf.

“But I‘m–”

“Human. We know.”

“Can’t you have a pack human?” you tried.

“That would be a first.”

You were both quiet for a while, lost in your own thoughts. Your mind was already swimming with all of the information you were learning today, but you still wanted to know so much more.

“You said you have a bond. What does that mean?”

“A bond is something that comes with time. Like a link tying the pack together. You might live with other wolves but not necessarily have a bond, you’re not a part of the same pack. It’s what allows us to read each other better, to hear and speak inside each other’s minds.”

You already knew they had a special line of communication, but you still wondered: “So you can just hear each other's minds? Not other people?”

“Your thoughts are yours to keep, little human.” Namjoon assured you and you took a breath of relief. “I think that’s enough questions for today.”

You pouted because you still had at least five questions, but you didn’t wanna push him too much and end up annoying the wolf-man. You just couldn’t help it. All of this was so new to you, and yet you sometimes felt like you knew all of that already. Like the information was dormant inside of you and all you needed was a little push to get them out.

“Shall we go back?” Namjoon asked you after all of the food had been consumed. Not that there was a lot of it in the first place.

“Yeah. I loved our picnic, Joonie. Thank you for the food.”

Namjoon turned his back on you to put away the Tupperware containers and snack wrappers, making sure nothing would stay behind. It was easier to focus on cleaning up than on your words; he didn’t want you to see the flustered mess you made out of him sometimes. He needed to show you he was strong and capable, if he wanted you to pick him amongst his members.

And Namjoon could already see the two of you leading his pack. You might be human by nature, but you showed more and more each day all of the ways you could be his perfect omega. So perfect, in fact, that he was willing to overlook the fact you were human.

But when he turned back, expecting to see you waiting for him with your sweet face and fluffy coat, you were nowhere to be seen. For a split second, Namjoon panicked, his inner wolf trying to come to the front of his brain in high alert. But he didn't hear your scream for help, and didn't sniff the unmissable iron tinge of blood in case you'd gotten hurt.

He focused his ears, tuning it to the rustle of leaves as you ran, the quick pace of your heart and the muffled giggle.

Namjoon's alpha crooned and growled.

Omega wants to play.

Namjoon allowed his wolf to come to the front, let his ears pick up your erratic breathing and his nose pick up the scent trail you were leaving behind as you ran deeper into the forest. He gave you a head start, putting his bag on his back before moving in.

Your sakura and vanilla smell was all over the forest, and the alpha had to admit it. You were smart. Instead of running on a straight line, you zigzagged, circled trees and changed directions a few times, in an attempt to mislead the wolf.

You still stood no chance against an alpha, but you were putting up a good fight.

Namjoon started to run around, much faster than you ever could, but he didn't run straight to you, even if he could have. The alpha enjoyed the thrill of the hunt, so he followed your scent trail.

There was something more in the air, the deeper he chased after you. Besides your sweet, natural scent, he could pick up your excitement, elation and playfulness. Namjoon was growling and baring his teeth, as well as laughing in pure happiness, and he could hear your little giggles and rushed steps.

Until you stopped, and Namjoon froze.

“Come out while you still can, little human.”

You were biting your lip, back pressed against the oak tree you were hiding behind, both hands pinned to your side. Namjoon’s menacing growls were getting closer, and your heart was beating so fast in your chest you were growing a little dizzy. Excitement was rushing through you, and just a little bit of fear.

But that fear was even more exciting and you had no explanation as to why you enjoyed this so much.

When the crushing of leaves stopped, you reasoned that Namjoon had gone to the other side, but every nerve of your body told you the opposite.

You felt the warm huff of air on your neck, a bone chilling shiver covering your whole body, paired up with a short growl and the word:

"Run."

You screamed loudly and started sprinting again, uncaring of being quiet now that your hiding spot had been found. You were laughing and squealing as you looked over your shoulder to see Namjoon chasing you. It was just for a split second, but you could see his eyes were golden yellow, just like you remembered from his wolf form.

Having no idea where you were going, and trusting that Namjoon would find you if you got lost, you were surprised to reach the clearing again. You were on your way to crossing it when arms circled your waist and pulled you down to the grass. You were screeching and trying to untangle yourself from the man; at least he made sure that his back hit the floor, and not you.

As if you were in a cheesy movie, Namjoon flipped the two of you, pinning your arms above your head as his strong legs caged your hips. Your flailing around stopped when you felt the menacing rumbling of his chest against yours and you heard the eerie growl tearing from Namjoon’s throat. You looked up with wide eyes, heart beating fast, nerve endings lit up with desire.

The alpha’s eyes were still golden yellow, sharp and dragon like. You felt like a prey, caged in, caught after a chase. Your brain was a little hazy, much like you felt after the first time you tried to scent Jimin, so your body acted before it had time to catch up.

You looked to the side, baring your neck for the man in what you could only interpret as an act of submission. It pleased him greatly, based on the grunt and hums you heard from him. As Joon leaned over to drag his nose up and down your neck, inhaling deeply, you were biting your bottom lip in hopes of muffling your moans.

Any attempt was futile as his lips and teeth touched your neck; leaving wet kisses and small bites as he moved up. One of Namjoon’s hands kept holding yours pinned to the floor, and the other gently held your jaw, bringing your face back to him. Your breathing was heavy, chest pressed tightly against his. Your eyes dropped to his lips, and you licked yours.

“Can I kiss you, little human–”

You raised your head the few inches separating your lips from Namjoon’s, pulling back two seconds later and laying your head on the grass to stare at him. His eyes were back to the beautiful chocolate color you liked so much, but you didn’t have any time to ask him about it, when his lips chased yours again.

Namjoon’s lips were soft and plush, moving against yours almost hesitantly. He let your hands go and you used them to hold his neck and slip your fingers into his grayish hair, blunt nails scratching his scalp. He licked your lips after that and you parted yours for his tongue to slip inside and push against yours.

You felt like you were floating on a cloud, not pressed against the grass, dry leaves getting stuck to your hair. The alpha’s hands were on your sides, running up and down, squeezing your hips.

When you pulled on his hair, you swallowed the growl he let out, sucking his bottom lip into your mouth and letting it wobble back into place. When your blown out eyes parted and you stared at him again, you saw a feral man, about to devour you. And you desperately wanted him to.

“Alpha, please–” you whined and Namjoon attacked your neck.

He kissed all over your skin and you wouldn’t be surprised if you were left red and sore. As you pulled on his hair, causing a sting to his scalp, Namjoon’s teeth sunk in on your neck. It wasn’t hard enough to break skin, but you still whimpered and moaned when he sucked on the spot to make it bloom a pretty purple color.

You wanted Namjoon and you needed more, core throbbing in want as your skin felt like it was on fire. You wanted the alpha to turn you around, on your hands and knees and take you in the middle of this clearing. The arousal was making you feel animalistic and your free hand moved down Namjoon’s body, feeling the bumps and ridges of his stomach, resting on the band of his shorts.

“Not here.” he said instead, pulling his body away from yours and rolling on his back.

“Why noooot?” you whined with a pout, sitting up to stare at him.

It was very fucking hard for Namjoon to say no to you, to do responsible thing and hold back the voice in his head that was whispering for him to take you, make you his at once. He would already get enough shit from his members for the love bite he left on your neck. It was nothing like a mate mark, you couldn’t take a real one anyways, but the exact spot it was supposed to go was covered by a quickly darkening hickey.

“Bugs, baby.”

“Ah, yeah, I don’t like those.” your nose scrunched as you sat up on the grass, wiping the dried leaves from your pants. When your hand hit your right knee, you winced.

“Are you okay?” Namjoon checked, alerted with your every move.

“I am, I just… Tripped before you found me and I think I scraped my knee.”

“You should be careful, we need to clean it.” the alpha sat, touching your leg just under your hurt knee. “Do you want me to carry you?”

Yes. “No, I’m alright, it’s just a little scrape.”

If Namjoon wasn't Bangtan’s pack leader, he would have been in a lot of trouble. When you made it back to the house, hours ago, you were wearing your teddy coat again; the clouds were getting darker in the sky, announcing the storm that was supposed to hit tonight, so you grew a little cold.

And providing you with warmth and comfort was part of their job as alphas of your pack. Hoseok cut up fresh pieces of wood for the fireplace, Seokjin made you some warm tea, Taehyung gave you his pair of fluffy socks. Soon enough you were toasty and too warm to keep wearing your coat.

And it didn’t help that you wore the bruise he gave you proudly.

Namjoon’s alpha absolutely crooned at the fact you had accepted his mark, as fading and temporary as it was, and grew smug and cocky. The more human part of him, however, had to endure complaints and whines from his pack mates.

I can’t believe you pulled this shit. Hoseok had complained as soon as he saw the bruising.

Hyung! That’s crossing the line! Jungkook had pouted. If it was me doing it, you would have grounded me!

Aish, Joonah! Territorial much? Seokjin glared at him from the other side of the room.

If this is how you wanna do things, we can play dirty too. Jimin warned him with a playful glint in his eyes.

“Excuse me!” you said as you had enough of the boys’ inner bickering.

You were all in the living room, with the exception of Yoongi, who had driven to town to pick up some groceries. Five of them were sprawled out on the big U shaped couch, while you sat on the floor, closest to the fireplace. Hoseok was in wolf form this afternoon, too lazy to turn back, or using his puppy-like state as an excuse to lay his head on your leg and receive pets and ear scratches.

For the past thirty minutes, the pack had grown silent, so you knew they were holding a discussion in each other’s minds and it really annoyed you to be purposefully left out.

“Use your outer voices if you want to talk, or I’ll go to another room.” you stated. “It’s impolite to talk behind my back.”

You tried getting up but Hoseok leaned harder onto your lap, his snout pressing against your stomach as he grunted.

“Hobi hyung said we’re sorry, noona.” Jungkook said with a pout of his own. The younger man was sulking and you had no idea why. “And that you smell really good–”

Tae hit the maknae with a pillow, and it made you laugh.

“Yeah, because I smell like all of you.” you pointed out, fingers running through Hoseok’s ash brown fur.

“As you should.” Seokjin told you from your left, reaching a hand to squeeze the back of your neck and you relaxed into his touch.

At this point you were convinced you smelled more like the pack than yourself, and you loved it. You had learned pretty quickly that scents and smells were really important for the wolves, and making sure you smelled like them made you feel like part of the pack. Even if you couldn’t make them smell like you.

A lightning bolt illuminated the slightly darkened living room, being followed by the thunder that sounded so close you shuddered. It was a few hours past lunchtime, but the sky was so cloudy that it felt as if it was nighttime already.

The boys kept up with your request and you could hear everything they were saying –at least you believed so–, but you had half a mind of listening to them talking about a ceremony that would happen in two days. The rain started to fall and the drops were loud as they hit the glass walls at the front and the wood above you. Usually you loved when it rained, but this afternoon it was making you restless.

Hyung, is Yn coming with us? Jimin asked the leader as he pretended to play a game on his phone.

I don’t know yet. Namjoon spoke. There will be a lot of other packs there, I’m not sure about what they would think if we showed up with a human.

May I? Seokjin asked the leader for permission to give advice, to which the leader nodded inconspicuously.

They never purposefully tried to speak behind your back, or to hide things from you, but there were certain subjects that you couldn’t be a part of, some things that were best you didn’t know about. All seven wanted you to be part of the pack, and it felt like you were, in so many ways, but there were still wolf affairs that you couldn’t be brought into.

For your own safety.

We don’t know how the situation with the southside is going, we don’t know what will happen in the future. The elder of the pack was saying so they could all hear him. I think it’s best to be honest now, to let our friendly packs know we have Yn, let them meet her during a celebration. We don’t know when we’ll need them to fight with us, it would be worse if they found out we lied about something like this.

All in favor? Namjoon checked, and everyone agreed with nods, hums and small movements that the leader picked up on, but that were small enough that you didn’t. Hoseok. Can you find out what the situation in Seoul is?

I think hyung was meeting with someone while in town.

Hoseok informed him, but he wasn’t really paying attention to the discussion happening around him, much more interested in paying attention to you.

Your small hands were treading lightly through his fur, scratching behind his pointed ears, but he could sense you were tense, could smell your sweet scent taking a sour turn. So much so, it bothered him.

The wolf sat up, between your legs, watching you intently. He couldn’t talk to you, not like this, and he didn’t want to worry the pack as they discussed what they should do about you and the mating ceremony happening soon.

You smiled at him, but he could tell it was forced. So Hoseok huffed and rubbed his head under your chin, in hopes his scenting would help relax you. And it did, to an extent. What’s wrong, pretty girl? he wished he could ask you.

“It’s raining a lot.” you said quietly.

Hoseok thought you liked the rain, you were always so excited about watching it fall from the big windows at the entrance and you’d always say one of your favorite smells was the forest after heavy rain.

“I’m not scared of it,” you said as he looked at you again, scratching under his chin. “But Yoongi isn’t home. I don’t like the idea of him out there all alone.”

“He’ll be fine, doe.” Seokjin, who must’ve been listening to your one-sided talk with Hobi, said to you. “It’s probably not raining this much in town, and he’ll be careful.”

“Okay.” you offered him a small smile, arms circling around Hoseok as you hid your face on his fluffy chest. You took a deep breath, inhaling his cedar and mandarin scent. “I just like it when you’re all home.”

Night fell and there were no signs of Yoongi.

The rain was a lot calmer at this point, but you weren’t. You knew that the man –the werewolf– was more than capable of taking care of himself, there were no threats in Dalju, and he knew the way around. But you couldn’t help but feel like he should be home. All of them should be at the Bangtan den.

You didn’t know yourself to be so clingy, so you could only blame it to the pack mentality you were apparently growing after living with the seven wolves for the past seven weeks.

After dinner, the boys split up to do whatever they had to do; Namjoon and Hoseok locked themselves up at the leader’s study, Jungkook and Seokjin were playing video games in the main living room, and you were ambushed by Jimin and Taehyung as you were on your way to your bedroom for some quiet time.

“Come watch a movie with us.” Jimin poked his head out of the playroom on the second floor of the house. “We’ll even let you pick.”

“When do you ever let me pick a movie?” you rolled your eyes, but walked into the room to find Taehyung already there.

“We’ll let you pick this time.” the younger man grinned, scooting a little to the side on the couch so you could sit in the middle.

The playroom doubled as a movie room; the biggest TV of the house was mounted to the wall, a couple piles of DVDs lined up the wide television stand –even if you knew they usually watched something out of netflix–, a shelf in the corner was filled with all kinds of board games, and there was even a mini fridge in the back, stocked with snacks and beverages.

The floor was carpeted, which installed the ‘no wolves inside the room’ rule, and the couch was big enough to fit seven people. Right now, the middle seats were pulled out to make it almost as long as a bed. Taehyung was sitting on one side, lifting the fluffy blanket he had been sharing with Jimin, so you could join him.

You had long ago showered and exchanged the hike clothes for cotton pajamas that had once belonged to Seokjin, so you matched the two boys as they were wearing light shorts and t-shirts.

Before joining you and Taehyung on the couch, Jimin closed the door softly and turned the lights off.

You watched movies with them many times before, but usually more of the others would join you, and the door to the hallway always stayed open. And after the kiss you shared with Namjoon earlier that day, and what he told you about Jimin and Taehyung, you were feeling a little nervous.

At least it was distracting you enough so you wouldn’t worry about Yoongi.

Right now you didn’t worry about anything that wasn’t the way Jimin scooted a little closer to you, so that your thighs were pressed together, and how Tae’s head rested against your shoulder so he could scent you as much as he pleased.

“S–so, can we, uh.” you stammered when Tae’s lips touched your neck and Jimin’s hand rested on your thigh under the blanket. “Watch a horror movie?”

“Ladies’ choice, doll.” Taehyung hummed against your skin. “We don’t even have to pay attention to it.”

“W–e don’t?”

Taehyung shook his head as he kissed over the small bruise Namjoon had left behind, lips parting for his tongue to lick over it.

“Just wanna spend some time with you, is that okay?” Jimin looked at you, a small hand rubbing up and down your leg. His face was nothing short of angelic with his pink cheeks, light blond hair and innocent eyes.

You nodded and he chirped happily. Jimin awoke the dormant television and loaded the movie they had already chosen. So much for letting you choose what to watch! It’s what you would have said if you weren’t more interested in the way Taehyung’s kisses were growing bolder and Jimin’s hand lightly squeezed your leg.

“Hyung did a number on your neck, didn’t he?” Taehyung leaned back a little more to look at your neck. “Don’t worry, doll, I covered it.”

“Looks a lot prettier now.” Jimin turned to you again, eyebrows raising as he saw what his best friend had done to your neck. You could feel it throbbing where the neck met shoulder, but didn’t complain. “Did you have fun with hyung?”

You swallowed and nodded, wondering if they could guess what had happened. You had no doubt that they could smell Namjoon all over you once you got back from your hike, which is what resulted in the heavy scenting that made you smell like them the rest of the day.

“I did. We talked a lot.” you said as you relaxed against the back of the comfortable couch, trying your best not to squirm. “Joon told me he and the others thought you were mates when you first joined the pack.”

“We thought we were, too.” Taehyung agreed, running a hand through his dark and messy hair, the curls being pushed off his forehead but falling stubbornly back into place.

“Wait, really?”

“Yeah.” Jimin giggled, as if fond of the memory. “And we do love each other, but not like that.”

“Sometimes like that.” Tae shrugged, sending Jimin a dark look.

“So like… you’re boyfriends?” you asked with a little bite to a nail.

“Not with so many letters.” Taehyung said with a small shrug.

“We’re not in love with each other, dove, we just fuck sometimes.” Jimin told you.

You wanted to squeal, your jaw almost dropped. Instead, you pulled the blanket higher and pretended it didn’t surprise you. “Oh.”

“Does it bother you?” the blonde man asked.

“No, not at all. But don’t I bother you?” you asked while looking from one of them and to the other. “I mean, aren't you bothered that the other is attracted to me?”

“We’re not just attracted to you, little dove. But no, we can't explain it either. There's a lot about you we can't explain.”

“You’re not a threat to us.” Tae agreed with his hyung’s words.

“Okay.”

You grew a little quiet after that, lost in your own thoughts. The three of you were sitting side by side, practically glued to each other, as you watched the characters moving on the screen. Not that you could pay much attention to the plot.

All you could think about were Jimin’s pouty lips on Tae’s. You wondered how different their kisses were; maybe Jimin was more playful, while Tae could be more passionate. You wondered what it would be like to kiss them yourself. Your legs were hidden by the blanket, so maybe they wouldn’t notice if you squeezed your thighs together just a little harder–

“Dove, whatever you’re thinking about, you should stop.” Jimin warned, eyes still on the TV.

“Why–”

“We can smell you.” Tae admitted through a groan that sounded like a moan and it went straight between your legs.

“I know.” one of the first things you learned about the wolves was how they could smell you well, and apparently they really liked it.

“No, I mean, we can smell you.”

The way Tae spoke and the way Jimin inhaled the air and his eyes became just a little darker, sending a new pang of arousal through you, made you absolutely mortified.

“Oh fuck, you mean– Shitshit wait you can smell me every time?”

“Yeah.” another groan from Tae. This time, one of his arms slipped around your back to pull you flush against his body. You could just about feel something pressing against your thigh, but didn’t want to think about what it was.

“A–all of you?” you checked.

“Mhm.” Jimin nodded, turning on his side to watch you and Tae, movie forgotten behind him.

“Well, shit. Can any of you drive me to Seoul tomorrow?” you pulled the blanket over your face, wondering just how many times these seven werewolves could smell the horny on you.

“You were thinking about us together, weren't you?” Taehyung asked in a dangerously low baritone, nosing just under your ear. “Fuck, you smell sweet.”

“No–”

“Liar, liar.” Jimin chuckled, prying the blanked off your hands so he could see your face. “We can hear your heartbeat too, you know? We know when you’re lying.”

“Leave me alone!” you covered your face with your hands.

“Just tell us and we might show you.” Tae teased.

Your head rose quickly and your wide eyes stared at Jimin. He sent you a wink and you were damn sure he was saying something to Taehyung inside his mind. The younger man let go of you so he could sit up and lean forward, toward Jimin. Both of them had devilish smiles on their faces, no doubt hearing the unsteady drumming of your heart.

Jimin’s hand rested on the back of Tae’s neck and he closed the distance. But instead of putting you out of your misery and pressing their lips together, Jimin kissed down Taehyung’s jaw; small, tender pecks all across the other man’s tanned skin. Tae was responding to every touch, hands dragging up the smaller man’s chest and stopping on either side of his neck.

When Tae’s long fingers tangled into Jimin’s soft blonde strands, he pulled the hyung away from his neck and clashed their lips together at once. Like you, Tae must have been tired of all that teasing.

Your eyes were glued to the way their lips moved together and you saw when their tongues met. You were growing hazy again, eyes growing heavy, pussy throbbing with want. You felt like your body wasn’t yours anymore, little mewls spilling from your lips.

Look at her, Taehyungie. Jimin teased the dongsaeng as their wet lips parted and he looked at you. Think it’s our pheromones again?

Don’t care. Taehyung felt as drunk as you looked. Want her–

Easy there, alpha. Jimin’s hold on Taehyung’s nape got a little stronger, fighting the younger wolf for submission. When Tae whined, he knew he had it. Ask her nicely if you can kiss her too.

Taehyung helped your body up and you went willingly, one of your hands holding onto his arm as the other grabbed Jimin’s shirt sleeve. Your pretty lips were bitten and you smelled so fucking wet it was driving Tae a little crazy. If the hyung wasn’t there right now, his face would be between your legs and you’d be crying his name for the whole pack to hear.

With a gentle touch to your face, even if his wolf begged him to be a little rough, Tae asked you: “Can we kiss you too, doll?”

“Yeah.”

You were out of yourself, feeling like you had just drank a whole bottle of tequila. The air felt thick around you and you felt like time had completely stopped. You were too dizzy to move properly, but Tae helped you straddle his lap, folding his legs so you’d sit more comfortably.

There was no time to waste when you chased after his lips, meeting them parted and slipping your tongue into his mouth. Tae grabbed you by the back of your neck and you hummed a high pitch sound you had never heard yourself make before. Your tongues danced, pushed and pulled each other in a wet and sloppy kiss that might just stink up the whole house with the scent of your arousal.

You were holding yourself by his shoulders, hips rocking back and forth when you found Taehyung’s clothed erection. The man moaned into your mouth and something inside you became so elated you almost started to purr.

“I’m starting to get jealous here, dove.” Jimin’s hand was rubbing your back with tenderness, his satoori reminding you of his presence in the room.

“Minie!” you pulled away from Taehyung, feeling a small string of spit sticking to your chin as you turned to the other side. “Please–”

“Come here.”

Your body turned to face Jimin and he patted his thighs for you to sit on his lap, just as you had done to Tae seconds before. The blonde man licked your chin and sucked on your bottom lip, tasting his packmate on your lips. You slipped your tongue into his mouth and Jimin groaned; plush lips wrapping around the wet muscle so he could suck on it.

Taehyung was on his knees, behind you, and he held onto the sides of your hips to make you roll them on Jimin’s lap, rubbing your damp, covered pussy, on his thigh. It felt so fucking good you could cry. You were so overwhelmed it was hard to breathe.

Jimin’s hand tangled in your hair and you whined, baring your neck to the alpha. Jimin kissed your skin and you winced from how sore it felt, but you still let him make his own pretty mark on your neck.

You wanted Jimin to bite you, then you wanted to go around the house, find every alpha in the pack and have them mark your neck too. Then you could drag each one into the playroom and they could all take turns claiming you, fucking you.

“That’s a fun plan, baby.” Jimin agreed and you had no idea you spoke out loud. “But I’m afraid this is enough for today.”

“What?”

Tears filled your eyes as a small voice in your head said you were being rejected. Your alpha was rejecting you. You weren’t good enough for him.

“Baby, hey, shh. Look at me.” Jimin cradled your face and kissed your eyes, wiping your tears with his lips. “You were so good for us. You’re so good for the whole pack.”

“You don’t want me!” you cried harder, suddenly feeling exhausted.

“Of course we want you, doll.” Taehyung hugged your back, releasing more of his own scent to calm you. Even through his own haze, he could see you were distressed and it was making his brain work again.

“You’re just so tired, aren’t you?” Jimin coaxed you, bringing your hands to his face so he could nose at your wrists, lick the spots your scent glands would be if you had them. If you were one of their kind.

“I–I’m tired?” you blinked with heavy and wet eyelashes.

“Mhmm. How about a nap?” he offered while Tae cooed and kissed your head and your face. “That sounds nice, doesn’t it?”

“Hobi likes when I take naps–”

“Of course he does. You want to make alpha happy, don’t you?”

You were nodding, but your body felt limp as the two werewolves got up from the couch, still being protected by Taehyung’s as he carried you bridal style. Tae laid you on your bed, Jimin closed the blinds and you immediately fell asleep.

Hyung, what happened? Tae asked his friend, concern oozing out of him.

Not sure, Taetae. But we need to call for a pack meeting.

They heard her, didn't they. Just like she can hear them. Plus, why has nobody questioned how she can tell who's who in puppy form? What makes her different? Is she like .07% wolf? This is so good!
