Hey my dear Patrons,
got a new inspiration support here for you. On this one I have a short dive into some ways I use digital modular tools to come up with more unusual sounds in an easy way. As with all inspiration insights this is not about detailed settings but about the approach which might be inspiring to you too.
In terms of VCV 2 (as used in the example), this video does ofc only scratch the surface of what you can do with it. If you want to understand more about using VCV 2 I recommend to also check the following lil walk-through. It explains things pretty well and covers most of the basic steps you need to get started with to be able to move along -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQemd9AovH8
Post video release add-on: Just after releasing this inspiration support video one of my dear long term patrons (Joe Erskine - bigup dude!) did note there is another all free digital modular tool called CARDINAL. It is build/based on the same technology/engine as VCV and you can have a look at it here: https://github.com/DISTRHO/Cardinal
