I got a little sick over the weekend, but I've used that time to write up the alchemist storyline. On top of that, here's some progress since last time:
- NEW ICONS:
A variety of new icons to support new story content AND icons for the bestiary system and actions (so I don't have to use a placeholder bucket icon);
- NEW ASSETS:
A few 3D assets to support the story content, for use in gameplay AND cutscenes;
- NEW BESTIARY ICONS:
Bestiary now generates an icon for every slime by combining the a specific icon and slime's "DNA" so you can delineate what you're growing. Both an addition to the grow data and a useful gameplay feature, along with slime names;
- NEW STORY CONTENT:
Alchemist now gets his main story that also adds some potent mutagens to your arsenal;
- NEW SCENES:
Irene finally gets all of her scenes in the game! This opens up way for some remaining story cutscenes and doing a cleanup pass on all of the remaining animations, weeding out weird timings and egregious clipping.
Whew, tons of stuff. With this I think I'll move on to doing 2 posts a week instead of posting every day (it's a bad habit, really), with additional wip's in the Discord as they go. I also got the poll results and I'll start implementing the results as I go along!
