Blue Beetle Favorite Scene: The fight with Carpax. Surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Also, I thought that George Lopez as the uncle was quite winning. What I'd Change: Develop the main villain's plots a lot more. She's kind of ho-hum. Most Surprising Thing: That I found anything to like about it. Aquaman 2 Favorite thing: Amber Heard's incredible ghost performance. If you told me that they had hired a mannequin, spruced it up with CGI, and called it Mera, I'd have believed you. What I'd Change: Uh, maybe cut down on the plot, I guess? If they were trying to make Aquaman 2 the modern-day Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, they could have at least done us a favor and made it a whole lot shorter. Most Surprising Thing: That I didn't see this in the cinema. I saw Black Adam, Blue Beetle, and The Flash on the big screen, but apparently Aquaman 2 was a bridge too far for me. I don't even remember why.

This rewatch series has been fun and brought back some nostalgic memories I'd forgotten from the DCEU era. These movies, while mostly not good, were just so bizarre but fun to watch and riff on with friends (mainly in the early years). Question: What will the DCEU's legacy be?
