Hello Drifters,

It's Joe, wishing you a good Friday and a dry basement (it's raining a lot here in NYC). We've got a couple fun Sunday releases planned for the podcast that I wanted to tell you about.

I am currently working on a spooky episode (not too spooky, just a bit) that'll be out on October 8th. There were a bunch of requests so I wanted to make it happen. Wanting to do something fun for this Sunday, October 1, we've decided to do something for the first time - let someone else guest host.

Don't worry, it's not Vladimir Putin. It's close friend Jo Firestone (from The Soup episode) reading from her new book 'Murder on Sex Island'. She's got a lovely voice and it's very funny so Ryan has scored it to make it appropriate for bedtime (it is appropriate for bedtime too). For some reason, there is no actual hanky panky in the mystery novel, you'll have to ask her why.

But I just wanted to let you know the plan and am excited to have good new episodes for you back to back weeks.
