Having three options certainly splits the vote! Modern Arty/CAS has snuck through with only a single vote over Infantry Firepower. It could be fun to go overboard and subject the unfortunate Syrian target platoon to destruction by excalibur... wildly impractical in game (and no doubt real) terms, but should look cool!

As for the main effort this week, we're back on track to tackle War Room 24 and get to grips with Napoleon smashing Spain and Moore luring him off towards Corunna. Lots of reading to do, plenty of maps to make, but it'll put in a pin in the Peninsular for now and for the next War Room we can have ourselves a more modern interlude.

Meanwhile, the St George Incident Plannex is already generating lots of interesting ideas and discussion... foremost of which is really just how difficult it is to create a modern scenario where ground forces actually get to mash into one another in a realistic fashion. No worries though- this is an experiment after all. I certainly have more plans for that island...

Anyway, that leaves us with this week's poll where we're back to WW2. Armour Penetration won last time (and it was fun to watch a Sherman not get blown up!), so we're onto Arty/CAS and Infantry Firepower.
