Poll 82 Results, Poll 83 and This Week
Added 2025-08-11 07:36:51 +0000 UTCWW2 Infantry Firepower scrapes through with a narrow victory. We did the Vickers last time, seems only fair to give its German counterpart a go.
The main effort this week is to crack on with the second chunk (Season? Batch?) of the Company Challenge and get stuck into the Cold War with the US Mech Coy. Totally organic, but I still have to decide on the min or max versions... that's the difference between individual rifle squads having Dragon and not, which could be decisive. I'm leaning on kitting every company out as much as possible on the basis that it would be easier to say "Without Dragon, this would have been much tougher" than it is to say "With Dragon this might have been easier, who knows?"
Hopefully that won't present too many difficulties, I have some plates to keep spinning. Not least, of course, the St George Incident plate. I think I'm at the stage where I need to work out Blue's HLZ options...
Anyway, that's the outlook for this week. Next week the polls are taking us back round to moderns with Infantry Firepower and Armour Penetration.

I assume the answer is Javelin shaped. 6 missiles per platoon, 18 missiles per company... bish-bash-bosh, as they say

2025-08-12 16:04:26 +0000 UTCMy general theory is that it is more likely BLUFOR will land in the rugged areas where vehicles cannot reach and proceed the attack dismounted at night using night vision advantage. The problem is how to deal with the BTR-82s. (Any idea whether or not they can get a perry to shoot some 76mm?)
