Reducing file size and news about next version
Added 2024-07-04 18:00:20 +0000 UTCFile size has been a growing issue with each update, and I’ve been searching for a solution for a while. Thankfully, a knowledgeable user from another platform tipped me off to a solution that reduces the file size to roughly a quarter of the original without significantly reducing quality. Plus, this change improves quality of life since the files are now videos instead of gifs. From this update onwards, the videos will have better quality without the usual size issues.
For anyone who hasn't had a chance to try out version 1.02 or check the short stories, you can use the following downloads. For those who have already played it, this update is the same content-wise, so there’s no strong argument to download it again right now.
Regarding the next full update, I’m pushing hard to have it ready by next week. I’ll provide more news about its progress when I can be more certain. However, if it’s not ready by the end of next week, expect the release closer to the end of the month since I won’t be able to work on it for over a week.
