News about upcoming updates and Poll on RPG elements present

Hey there, first of all, for those who have already had the chance to try it, I hope you enjoyed the latest version and the first episode of the short stories. I have some news and I would like to get a general idea of ​​your opinion on some of the mechanics that are present in the game.

The news first, I have already started developing version 0.08 and I will try to release this version in two weeks, next week I will give a more concrete date.

For this version I intend to add several short scenes in various locations outside the home, at the moment there is very little reason to leave the house and to not skip work and I would like to give more incentive for this. In addition, I will continue the story of the main character's partner and Mark and continue or start the storyline of one of the secondary characters, Olivia, Emily or Scarlett, after releasing version 0.07 to the public I will start a poll to determine which one it will be. There may be more depending on how long it takes to do the rest.

The poll to decide the second episode of the short stories will start on Wednesday, October 18th, after all Patrons have access to the first episode, I really liked how the first one came out and I want to start working on the next one as soon as possible.

Regarding this poll, when I made the switch to sandbox mode, I introduced RPG elements like energy, affection and corruption. The idea of ​​these elements initially was to encourage the viewing of repeatable scenes around the house at least once, however, and I can only confirm from my experience, unlocking the scene in the gallery is enough incentive. My fear is that keeping these elements could lead to unnecessary grinding.

The intention behind the transition to sandbox mode was to be able to tell several stories without being limited by a timeline and to give more freedom in how to interact with the story, not to introduce grinding. It is true that the story may be progressing slowly, however, I have avoided having repeated scenes and have tried to make each scene progress the storyline in which it is inserted, however, this is the intention and I am not always able to convey that intention to the scenes.

I feel that the RPG elements that are present at the moment, except money, which I have plans for, are not being used properly and could generate unnecessary grind and confusion in the future. My immediate solution would be to remove them, however, I would like to get a sense of your opinion before making this change.

Thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it and I think it's an interesting option, I'll definitely take it into consideration. By the way, I would also like to thank you for suggesting opening a server on Discord. I'm in the process of creating one, it's taking a while because I'm quite illiterate when it comes to Discord, but I'll post it here tomorrow.

The thing is, you're not really taking real advantage lf those elements right now. You could make a system where you'd have to get Maggie to a certain lust level before she goes to see Mark or something. Also, "evolving" events like a Kitchen Maggie+Mark event stage 1/2/3/4 for example, *that* would be a good use of the sandbox system.
