It's hard to believe it's been 3 years since I released Find Love or Die Trying!
It's even harder for me to believe that it's been a whole 5 years since I first started working on it.
Thank you so much for your continued support, and for being a part of this wild, wild journey with me - and as a small thank you, I'm happy to reveal the new logo for the Find Love or Die Trying: Til Death Do Us Part DLC! I hope you like it as much as I do.
Whether you've been here since the beginning or just hopped on this crazy train more recently, I'm immensely grateful for your continued patronage and support!
Now, I'll give a quick update on what I've been working on this month, as well as some of my thoughts for the future!
Find Love or Die Trying - Til Death Do Us Part
Art for the Find Love or Die Trying sequel is progressing well, over 60% complete! I'm optimistic it'll be complete in the next 2.5 months. Previous estimates are holding, which is great to see.
As you can see, we've got a new logo now!
Alpha Testing is 75% complete! This is on track for finishing this month, courtesy of KumoriYami.
The planned translator for Chinese ended up having to drop this project due to life getting busy - I'll be looking for a new translator to help here.
When the Art, Translation, and Final Testing is done, we'll be good to release!
Familegion - Working with Other Creators & the Nintendo Porting Pitch Project
As a reminder, Familegion is a short but sweet game led by N. J. Lascal that I helped out some with. It started as a project to see if we were interested in working together on larger projects. It was a ton of fun! We've finished development, and now we're just waiting for the Chinese translation to finish & to hear back on the Nintendo pitch to release it.
At this time, we don't plan to heavily market the game due to its smaller scope not being fully representative of the games we plan to make as a team.
We're hoping we'll get an official answer from Nintendo regarding the pitch this month. Here's to hoping it's family-friendly art style and greater focus on gameplay will help it succeed!
New Game Project & Game Studio
I'm thrilled to say that because both N. J. Lascal and I had a lot of fun working together on our "test run" project, we've decided to form a game studio & make a new "flagship" game together!
This game is early in development, but I can share that it has a unique anime art style, features mystery solving mechanics, and a plot that I think fans of Find Love or Die Trying and mystery adventure games would enjoy.
Name of the Team & this new game are still TBD, but you'll be the first to know here!
More to share soon! Super excited for all that is to come.
Thoughts on the Future
I never thought Find Love or Die Trying would be enjoyed by so many people around the world. Even more so, I never thought I'd get the chance to make a sequel! I hope you enjoy seeing the FLODT girls in a brand-new adventure as much as I do.
I hope to one day make Find Love or Die Trying 2! I've always wanted to turn it into a series, but I haven't yet figured out how I want to tackle it. My hope is that I'll be able to get a team interested in its development so I can make it better than it would be on my own. We'll see! I'll keep my eyes open for the opportunity for this.
I'm so excited to show you all the mystery game Lascal and I are working on - I really think it's something special! You bet I'll be working my butt off to make this game as great as it can be! My most sincere hope is that the game does well enough that we can keep making more great games together, and make our studio one to remember!

I've been following you under this name and account since I saw you had plans for a sequel a few months ago. I really love "Find Love or Die Trying", not only because of the novelty of the game theme and the love of characters and plots, but also because of you. In the past, I thought you were a unique love simulation game maker. You boldly combined two unrelated themes. After seeing the message in the fan bag,I think you are a special producer. You are bold to tell your story to others. Especially when I see you make Find Love or Die Trying for your dream without charge, I am surprised because you have paid time and money, but you don't want to earn it back. If you were in China or California, I would have to meet you face to face (maybe we are friends now?)
