ETC Tips (Grandmaster VOD Analysis)

If you are looking for the ETC Comprehensive Guide, just search ETC in the Patreon search bar!

If you want to see a real game example of how to use ETC and what things you should be looking out for, I talk about some of them in these Grandmaster games that I played with ETC!

Yeah pairing up stuns with more CC and burst damage is always the most logical way to build a composition. 1 second stun + burst damage that takes 1 second to land makes more sense than 1 second stun + 2 raynor autoattacks. That being said It's fine to slot him in anywhere really, it is just a bit harder to play if you dont have the most obvious combo. Long range heroes are good counters to etc, as well as unstoppable heroes. Anything with a cc is good to have to counter mosh as well, and even sidestepping counters his base kit pretty well.

Fan Yang

I love playing ETC, he's so much fun! This a masterclass, thank you so much Fan :) I have a question. Because ETC lacks a bit on the wave clear department, even though he can correct it with some talent on W and such, I notice back on HGC games, and also the games you play in Grand Master/High Elo, that you tend to pick him with burst damage (like mages) and strong follow-up CC, like the Malfurion root. This compostion core like ETC, Malfurion and Jaina/Kael'thas, for example, seems to be a reoccuring theme on most of these high level ETC games. So the question is can you explain just a little but more about the synergies and counters for ETC? Can ETC be as strong with other composition ideas other than this stun, follow-up and damage explosion? What heroes do you think to counter him? Something like long ranged heroes like Hanzo or Liming? Sorry for the long text questions as always. Thank you for your knowledge! <3
