Decision Making 101: How to play from behind
Added 2025-09-04 22:31:52 +0000 UTCThis was another highly requested topic of how we should be making decisions when our team is not winning and we are behind.
In this video we take a look at a kerrigan game where I was behind for the majority of the game, and look at exactly how we approach decision making for the best chance to turn the game around.

If you think you helping can net 1 or more kills then generally yes. I'd recommend looking at the comprehensive experience guide, I explain more in detail whether the trades are worth it or not (ex give up 2 waves for 2 kills, when is that worth, when is it not, what about 2 waves for 1 kill, etc)

If they don't listen then they die doesnt change what you should do, you should look for anywhere you can make an impact and do it. 3) Sure the losing team will benefit more from an even talent fight. If you are ahead and think you can make it to an uneven fight then avoiding the fight until that happens is never a bad idea

2025-09-05 19:06:37 +0000 UTCThis is the best guide so far! Amazing! As per usual, I have a few questions sensei. 1) I know this is probably a little bit more complicated than that, but would you say that when you know your mirror matchup is lost (eg. 4v4, 3v3, solo laner 1v1, etc.) you try to rotate to create a disbalance? So you try to gank the solo lane to create a 2v1 like you showed in this video, or you rotate away to an uncontested lane (1v0). Essentially, you try to force an uneven fight in your favor? 2) In this example, your rotation to top lane means your team will be in a 3v4 (at least until they send someone top to compensate the 2v1). So, the bot lane should play defensive and try to defend their buildings safely. I'm assuming, to be sure potatos don't just go ham 3v4, we should just chat smth like "ganking top, play safe 3v4". If they don't what do you do? You just go bot? Or you just accept the loss cause team is too dumb and it do be like that sometime? 3) Would you say that, in an even fight (5v5, 4v4, etc.) and same talent, when you are behind and losing, you have the urge to fight? So, the team that is winning, doesn't want to fight on even terms. Then they should just do all their camps, soak, etc? Thank you so much sensei, this was the best guide so far! I loved it! See you in stream! hugg <3
