Added 2025-10-30 01:14:27 +0000 UTCI have been getting a lot of questions from Patreon subscribers on various game settings issues, so I made this video to answer all of those! I explain not only what settings I like but also why I like them and how you should think about each of these settings to customize it to your own preferences.
Mouse & Keyboard settings, Quickcast vs Non Quickcast, Mouse DPI Settings.

It's not a big deal but if you can increase dpi and still be accurate then theoretically you'll be faster by a few microseconds each time you issue a command. If you're so used to it you lose accuracy or play noticeably worse with increased DPI then you should just stick to the current DPI.

2025-11-06 02:29:33 +0000 UTCI have a little something to add and also a question. Just want to add that, I don't think on-release cast is good, because if you want to use the spell then I think is fine but if you want to cancel it you need to not depress the key and use something else to cancel. Most of the time one ends up using the spell instead of sparing it which I personaly think is kinda inefficient. I am a huge fan of normal cast, I feel like I can be very fast if I want to by just pressing the key and confirm with the mouse instantly but I can delay the confirmation if I need to see the indicator. My question is probably not that important but I am a long time FPS player from Counter-Strike and I grew my mouse accuracy having very low sensitivity. I use 800 DPI, I do use a slightly faster sensitivity compared to CS but not that much. I mean, I can hit the fast flicks on the heads, and I usually don't miss the targets I want to hit in HotS. I can stick to this right? Or do you think is important that I should consider augmenting my sensibility for HotS? Thanks for the guide Fan! hugg <3
