Suitable newsletter plugins? Suggestions needed
Added 2025-04-24 08:34:19 +0000 UTCA lot of you have signed up to get emails from Pivot to AI. The Pivot posts are canonically 250 words, so they'll fit on the front page. But many have been longer lately - I tend to write a post, then expand it for video, then blog it - so they have a "read more" at the end.
That works on the blog - but Jetpack (from WordPress) does the "read more" too. There appears to be no way to make it do a "read more" on the blog but send the full text to email subscribers.
I'm looking for a newsletter plugin that does this thing that should be simple. Looking through the WordPress plugin directory, it's all ecommerce newsletter plugins that it's not clear do the job I'm after.
So I'm asking you. Do any of you have personal experience of a WordPress plugin that emails the full text of a post even if it's got a "read more" on the site?
(Attack posts don't do this, the front-page excerpt is a separate function. I'll experiment with working around the problem this way.)
