sketchbook (mar 2021)
Added 2021-03-30 02:51:37 +0000 UTCI hope you've been well. Here's a roundup of some art you may have seen already, then a few new sketches from recently. 98% of the space in my brain has been occupied by the same project lately, so I think this post will be completely that.

I cut this up into sections for Twitter, but here's what the whole file looked like. (Bigger version here.) I've never been great at keeping my characters on model, but I'm trying to make the effort lately.

Here's this part as a sketch. I made his hair curlier for fun, but I really like it better.

I wanted to post a higher-res version of this here, but this is actually as big as it gets. It was part of a larger page of sketches, and I guess I didn't realize how far I zoomed in when I was coloring it.

(This is from last month, actually.)

I thought I was going to finish this, but maybe not.

I forgot I did this.
Thank you for being here, as always. Take care until next time.

Once again, thank you for another one of these amazing posts. I think the highlight of this month's sketchbook for me would have to be Ysme in blue. The scaly textures make her outfit look very pretty. Also, I'm fine with this project being the entire post. I love to tell everyone about the stories I come up with (maybe a bit too much), so I enjoy it when any of my other favourite content creators do exactly that. Anyway, hope you have a great month. Take care!
