Update, 9April2025

So, I completed a side story for Bunker. Right now, I'm waiting for feedback from the writer's room folks. I also have a specific planned release time, so hold your horses. I finally found some headway on another Bunker side story I planned. It's still in ch 1 for now, because I had real trouble getting out the gate with this one, but now I'm up to 2.5k on it. He's not a nice guy, but the story should be told - not for his sake, but for the women that put up with him.

No, I haven't forgotten Pete. I have a third chapter in mind for him, it's just so nebulous, it will take more time to put together. There's at least one, maybe two chapters left for Logan in QT as well. To aid the reading experience, I have created separate collections for each of these two.

As for current events, people need to be careful just how far they push the pendulum. Pendulums swing. different people think they get something out of pushing the pendulum further in their desired direction. Pendulums always swing back. You shove it too far, you're just giving it more energy to smash things. You push the pendulum to gain a policy you want, the pendulum gains the energy to destroy a right you don't want to give up. That goes for lots of groups, not just the ones dancing in the streets right now. Far better that we all think about the bare minimum that protects everyone, with out any special carve outs. That way, people are safe, and the pendulum loses energy. The insanity diminishes.

I am losing hope. I served in uniform. I took some comfort when family or friends said 'Thank you for your service around certain days of the year. Right now, I feel like they are spitting on it. (And please, Dear GOD, do not sound off with that phrase in the replies!)I'm no fan of teh wokies, but what we have now is just as evil.

Shit. I usually avoid politics in these updates, but fucking hell. I feel caught in the midst of an insane zoo of opposing views that are all wrong, and many deliberately so. Sorry, I'm about to wind up again. Fuck.

Keep your head down and your powder dry. Make friends with sane people you can count on. And for God's sake find a third option cause this shit has to end. I enjoy writing and reading apocalyptic stories. They're supposed to be fiction.
