Aisha finished animation, sketches
Added 2023-08-03 18:03:13 +0000 UTCSeemed like it would never end, but then it did. I will split out all the various loops into standalone loops in some days, for now it's a single unit. I also have a sketch celebrating reaching 20k follows on pixiv and 1 million views. Just imagine if i had that many people on fanbox, wow, really it's just a matter of three zeros or so, easy right? :) I'm open to suggestions since I don't have much in the way of sketches, I will at least make a sketch of the idea, more if i have the time. I have some ideas of my own if you'd just prefer that.

2023-09-14 18:04:43 +0000 UTCYes it is common in 3d videos, some of them actually pay voice actresses but for sure most grab voices from porn or any game/movie and reuse it. You can even take an adult voice and make the pitch higher using a software to get something close to an actual loli voice. Bubbles can be nice too to give a context. And I am almost sure premium doesn't give anything on that, but is that really a problem, just post a sample of it on pixiv? It's ok as a sketch anyway, if you feel like it might turn great animated then why not ^^ Failure or not you will still learn things, so not really a failure in the end imo. Well reusing is common, not really a problem, like with 3 eyes 3 mouths you can already make 9 different possible faces and with the speed of the video, you hardly notice it. And yes playing without layers and doing it frame by frame must be quite the challenge indeed!

2023-08-04 10:07:42 +0000 UTCAlso the actual main movement is only 10 frames, 5 frames actually since they are just mirrored back and forth, so once i had that it was just a matter of moving the head and eyes. The issue there was actually setting up the layers properly, but after a few days of trial and error I got something I liked and it only took me a couple of days to finish everything. This was sort of a test bed for a lot of animation "cheats" that pros use, if done correctly it looks the same but reduces the workload significantly. Thought the best animations are the brute force "draw every frame separately" type ones you just have to spend a lot of time on. I'm gonna try that for the dance animation. Try, anyway. :)

2023-08-04 09:23:07 +0000 UTCWell, I used quite a few short cuts, I duplicated a lot of the eyes and just made them move back and forth, with some minor tweening in places. It seems the 3D guys use sound a lot, probably from video games I guess, I'll look into it. I'll look around in general. Something else I was thinking is just putting text bubbles in animations, I could loop them out longer so they are actually readable. Theoretically I could make a video arbitrarily long for fanbox, but on pixiv I'm limited to 150 frames which is only 12.5 seconds at standard hand drawn animation frame rate. Might be another premium feature for fans perhaps? It might remain a sketch, we'll see how well it turns out, sometimes they just come out ugly. :) My goal is lots of different situations though, and yeah, the dance animation is a long term project, it has the highest chance of failure.

Without it it is still super good but with it would be the cherry on the cake :P Oh you are still using photoshop? Isn't it too hard to make it fully by yourself? But still you are pretty fast imo, I don't know how much time a day you worked on it but 8 days for that second part seems pretty nice. Well I was talking about the sketch suggestion but an animation for sure is the best thing possible :D Dance animation requires a lot of different poses and frames indeed, maybe a project to do in the background you update from time to time? It's ok, I'm kind of doing the same sometimes. And on my side, I really appreciate your works, thanks man!

2023-08-04 08:55:56 +0000 UTCYeah I thought about the idea of sound for a bit, I guess i could pilfer other media for sound. It's something I have in mind for sure, that and proper video editing, you see I never did any pans in this set. Yeah, I will split out each loop separately if it cycles properly, there should be at least half a dozen? I might even edit the ending and make that a semi-loop. I did learn quite a bit about photoshop's capabilities this project, so I'm fighting with it a lot less and it's easier to do things like that now. Yeah I was thinking of doing a BJ project next actually, so that will work out well. I think I'll also start a dance animation, but that will be a ton of work so I have no timeline on that, I also have some other ideas which I'll be posting this month so look forward to it. I just noticed i put "yeah" as the start of every paragraph, rather than editing it I will leave it as a funny stream of consciousness. Thanks for your comments as always, I really appreciate it.
