Making a back up
Added 2024-06-29 03:55:43 +0000 UTCHey guys, you might have noticed that patreon has been making some changes in recent days, I recently got the lamb post flagged myself, I been feeling increasingly worried my patreon might be shut down at any moment like it has happened to other artists so in the near future I'll be making a Substar.
I won't close patreon or anything, its just a backup in case they kill it themselves, you can move to substar if you wish tho when its ready, I'm also thinking of making a discord Server, mostly for organization's sake.
Share your thoughts tho, i'd like to hear you out.

I honestly don't know what the reasons were, I just noticed a couple artists moved off of it at the same time the new gumroad BS came down

2024-06-29 12:55:46 +0000 UTCI havent been a big fan of substar lately ( they changed so many rules I could no longer viably use the platform unless I was making over $500/month ) but if that works for you, then I'd follow you there if Patreon nuked you. A discord might be helpful but it might also be a handful. It depends on who you get to moderate because you'd be bringing in a HUGE set of fans and patrons. Im a no name creator with a handful of patrons but the Discord is over 360 people.

2024-06-29 05:59:37 +0000 UTCI don't plan on leaving Patreon, it's just a back up in case worse-case scenario happens although if their policies get more and more annoying I might jump off the train, but for now it's not in my plans.

2024-06-29 05:39:45 +0000 UTCIt is risky being on here as an adult content creator at all and I have no idea why they are just randomly marking people now after they have been around for long. And I can't see any reason as to why the post may have been flagged. Everything you post here that is NSFW is behind the paywall from what I can see and your Patreon is marked as 18+ right? Only way I would move to substar is if EVERYONE I support totally left behind Patreon, but not everyone has these issues. It seems to be random then things go back to normal for a while.
