to the 1st question; definitely apply! the worst they can do is say no, they aren't gonna blacklist you for being unqualified or something. as a boots-on-the-ground grassroots guy myself who now has some nice corporate experience (in esports to boot!), i was actually shocked how many places were interested in my admittedly lackluster resume.
