Chapter 117: Collection of Notes

The Disillusionment Charm ensures he won't be discovered, and his practical combat ability ensures he can turn the tide of a battle when necessary.

However, if Voldemort personally descended and began a massacre, Sean would definitely hide far away.

Still, that possibility is extremely low.

The premise for that problem to occur is that Dumbledore would have allowed Voldemort to sneak out.

'Hmm... this possibility is even lower than me fighting Voldemort,' he thought.

After all, for that outcome to happen, Voldemort would have had to succeed in several things—first, he'd have to make sure Dumbledore didn't know he'd slipped away.

That way, Dumbledore wouldn't appear immediately.

Second, he'd have to find someone who didn't desire the Philosopher's Stone, as he himself couldn't touch it, and his only goal was to obtain the Stone; otherwise, he wouldn't show his face no matter what.

The entire first Harry Potter book, rather than being a diary of Harry's growth and adventures, was more Dumbledore's plan to lure Voldemort out.

From the start, Dumbledore knew that Albania was Voldemort's last hiding place, and Professor Quirrell was precisely the one who went there for research.

Later, when Professor Quirrell returned, he wore a strange turban on his head, and ever since he came back from Albania, he had become abnormal.

Dumbledore wouldn't be unaware, or he wouldn't have asked Professor Snape to keep an eye on Professor Quirrell.

With Headmaster Dumbledore controlling the overall situation, Sean had much less to worry about.

The primary task was to avoid Professor Quirrell, no matter what this... professor was like before, his current danger was beyond doubt.

Nobody knew what the already mentally unstable Tom would do.

Second, Sean's task was to keep an eye on the troll... these were the only two dangers he might encounter in first year.

Of course, another important task was not to expose himself and keep the plotline from deviating.

It was another early morning.

The corridors were filled with laughter, little wizards chasing and playing, and it was worth noting that many held a thick notebook with a blue cover in their hands.

Outside the stained-glass windows, a giant could occasionally be seen moving pumpkin after pumpkin across the lawn.

Hermione and Justin were followed by a head-down Neville, and seeing his posture, Hermione said helplessly:

"Neville, if you don't look up soon, I think the magic mirror will be shouting again later..."

Hermione always had a special concern for Neville, especially knowing that his parents were constantly lying in a hospital bed, which made her even more so.

Neville, this Gryffindor, always carried a label in her eyes of, 'Don't bully me, I'm pitiable.'

It made her both annoyed and worried.

"By the way, Hermione, what do you think of that collection?" Justin inquired.

"It's very... good."

Hermione held a sky-blue covered notebook, and just as she was about to praise it, she was stopped by the cold wind.

The corridor with its piercing draft was bitterly cold, and the three of them were eagerly looking forward to the roaring fire burning in the common room.

In a sparsely populated area, Justin suddenly turned his head slightly, his gaze fixed on a certain corner, and he whispered:

"Sean?"

At that moment, the figure of a young wizard slowly appeared in the corridor.

Neville cried out, and Hermione firmly covered her mouth.

"Yes, it's me."

Sean nodded.

It looked like Hermione hadn't noticed him, and the most important point was achieved, which was enough.

However, he glanced at Justin and sighed, 'I've been discovered again.'

"Oh, Sean, your Disillusionment Charm has improved again... but bring it on. This is the one thing I absolutely won't lose!"

Justin seemed to have figured something out, and he joined the test with slight excitement.

This was like when Sean practiced Finite Incantatem: at first, he couldn't undo Justin's [Beginner] level Levitation Charm, but later he could casually break Justin's [Experienced] level Levitation Charm.

His progress left everyone in the classroom stunned.

Sean sighed again, then naturally knocked on the Transfiguration Office door.

"Come in, child."

Professor McGonagall was visibly getting busier and busier; it seemed she wanted to finish grading all the upcoming assignments and prepare all the teaching plans.

She hadn't stopped being busy since Sean first started practicing Advanced Transfiguration.

But even with such a demanding schedule, she would pause when Sean practiced Transfiguration, concentrating on watching his movements, correcting his mistakes, and pointing him in the right direction.

In this respect, Professor Snape was always doing the same thing, just with a very impatient tone.

When he left the Transfiguration classroom, the sky had gradually darkened.

Sean walked past the corridor and spotted Harry and Ron lingering next to that suit of armor again, with many other young wizards around them.

"Sean is here!"

Ron shouted, and all the young wizards looked at him with both reverence and gratitude.

Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Slytherin...

'Huh?'

'Why are there Slytherins too?'

Looking at the little snake wrapped in a Slytherin scarf next to Michael, Sean was genuinely confused this time.

"Today is the first day the Green Collection came out, Sean, we came to thank you for generously gifting part of the collection!" Ron said excitedly.

From his trembling words, Sean roughly understood what was happening.

It turned out to be Justin; he had quietly organized many of his notes and, after talking to Sean, released these notes for the first time—and a free portion, no less.

He had originally intended to use the free part to open up the sales market for other magical subjects, but an unexpected variable appeared—

That's right, it was Ron and Harry; with the notes for other classes, they had recently earned many points for Gryffindor.

This caused Justin's plan to explode in popularity before it even warmed up.

Ultimately, after a mad scramble, Justin didn't even have his own notes left.

Fortunately, there were only ten copies, and they only covered the material learned before Halloween.

But that was enough for the young wizards to have a weekend without worrying about homework.

The excited Ron immediately brought the wizards who grabbed the free notes to thank Sean right there, and at that moment, he couldn't bother about Slytherins mixing into the group.

By the time he left the corridor, Sean couldn't hold all the candy they had given him.

He silently thought, 'No wonder Justin secretly stuffed so much candy into my bag today; I almost didn't have enough to give back.'

In the Transfiguration classroom.

"It seems our Mr. Greene is quite popular... wouldn't you say?"

The old man with the long, white beard clasped his hands and said with a smile.

"Albus, haven't you been... paying a little too much attention to him recently..."

Professor McGonagall frowned slightly, her tone somewhat solemn.
