Woohoo it's severance upload day! For some reason the scene with them in the makeshift "tent" always makes me want to cry. It's so quiet and somber and claustrophobic, it makes me think of how much they're in a cage for something so tender and universally human. I don't know how they even can breathe in there. And with all the soft piano music it's...really sad as much as it's sweet. They're so confined and it's so visual in that moment. This whole episode has such a strange vibe shift to it doesn't it? It really does feel like it's got sudden horror elements down to the brain surgery πAnd yeah no something is definitely up with Burt & FieldsπAlarm bells ring for me like nuclear sirens
