today we are starting xmen '97!! this is my timed reaction to season 1 episode 1 "to me, my x-men"
i didn't realize until i really started this that i've never seen something quite like this before. it was so cool, and off to a really interesting start! i'm excited to see where this season goes!

Bishop was in the Days of Future Past movie (played by Omar Sy), but it’s easy to not notice or forget, especially if you didn’t know him before that. He’s barely in it.

I grew up with the animated series in the 90's and for me it was weird to see the first X-men movie and the strange black leathers suits. This first season of X-men '97 really feels like a continuation to the 90's animated show to me. I really hope you will like 'this version' of the X-men, because for me, it is the 'original' (sorry for all you comic book readers out there, who like the different comic drawing styles).
