Weekly report 78

Here's a summary of what we did last week:
Chestnut:
Chestnut worked on sprites, creating Rose's naked base, and remaking the hands and other features for that new base. She started drawing images for cutscenes, one of which we shared as a spoiler. Lastly, she did more storyboards for one of the events that we decided needed to be changed.
Pistachio:
I spent the whole week writing dialogues. After finishing the first quest and doing the extra conversations I had said earlier that were needed for the intro, there was still something that didn't feel right. So, I went back to the drawing board and came up with a new event (changing one of the 'think' steps) that I believe will be cool visually. That took up some time, but we're happy with it now, and I think the writing (even in its first draft state) has a good flow. I also started work on the second quest and, with luck, will finish it by the middle of the next week and go for the final quest.
What's next?
Chestnut will continue to work on sprites and cutscenes. She wants to record another video (this one will feature a sexier artwork than the one in the last video), and I'll be posting it in the next few days.
I will finish the dialogues of the second quest and start the third quest. If I can complete everything before the next report, I'll start editing and actually running the game to resolve the errors and make sure that all the code/writing I've done works as intended.

2021-11-08 16:09:30 +0000 UTCWhen there are short-stacked characters (like a dwarf or a goblin), they will have body types that make it abundantly clear they're not children (extremely large breasts, for example). And I agree, we don't want Gretta to be the only curvy character in the game.

Which I do like of course, but it would be nice to see some more curvy women (which is why I'm looking forward to Gretta). Also much respect for your last remark, we don't want any lolis in this fantastic game.

2021-11-08 12:23:35 +0000 UTCI can say that none of the bodies are copy-pasted. There are features that are reused and edited (hands, to be specific), but every other body and head is drawn from scratch. If there are similarities, it's because the same artist does all of the character design and sprites. That said, I would like to have more variety as well, and I think we will have them with time. I can only think of one body type that we have decided never to include (the childishly petite with small breasts and small hips); every other type is welcome.

2021-11-07 22:31:30 +0000 UTCIt would be nice to see some more variation in bodytypes seeing as most of the girls have almost the exact same body, with minor differences like boob size. A lot of the nswf scenes end up feeling like it's the same person but a different face. But maybe I'm the only one thinking this :)
