Weekly report 85

First of all, I just want to say that we appreciate all of the comments in the last post. It's been a fucked up few days, and reading your words of encouragement, wishes, and suggestions has been incredibly heartwarming. Thank you! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and we promise that we'll try to work doubly hard after we've recovered to make sure we don't fail you.
How are we feeling? Better. Today neither of us has had a fever, and it's only the fatigue, the sore throat, and the headache that has remained. We're definitely well enough to cook something nice for tonight. It's going to be just the three of us for Christmas and the New Year, but we don't mind it. It could have been much worse, and we're happy that we're improving.
The only WaL related thing I can say is that we posted a spoiler earlier this week, and if you haven't checked that out yet, here's the link. Oh, and we plan to go back to seven days a week work schedule from Jan and when we've completely recovered.
It's probably often repeated these days, but please take care of yourselves, Merry Christmas if you celebrate it, and I hope you all have a fantastic holiday season.

Oldest had very mild symptoms today. Middle child none. Still waiting on my test...company said it is just mail delays but they are working with their team to figure something out (they emailed me today so ppl are working). Glad you guys are feeling better too. Happy Holidays

I'd rather you just focus on resuming a manageable/steady pace once you're feeling well enough to get back to it and not a grueling one. COIVD's a crappy and unexpected thing to happen to anyone and no reasonable person would hold it against you. Glad you're feeling reasonably well all things considered. Hope it only gets better. Enjoy the holidays and take it easy on yourselves!

It's truly fucked up, and I hope the results are negative. if they aren't, just know that this latest variant is not as dangerous, and there are far fewer hospitalizations. It's still going to feel like one of the worst cases of flu you've had, but you and your family will recover, I'm sure. I just hope that happens quickly. all the best

Weird that we are hoping its just the flu but with the exception of the youngest we are all vaccinated. Im still coughing, tired, fevery, but Im mobile and currently making food. Glad to hear you are on the mend...gives us hope.
