Weekly report 104

Hi everybody.

I hope you're all doing well and have had a productive week.

The sex scenes

Last week I got messages from two different patrons asking what sex scenes will be included in the 0.6 update, and I realized that we hadn't mentioned the final scenes in the report. So here is the list:

That last one came a bit out of nowhere since we wanted to have only one threesome scene, but the MC didn't have any scenes with Myrtle involving her boobs, and we thought now was the perfect time to right that wrong (and add a fun boob scene for Rose too).

The report

We have been working tirelessly to try to wrap up the main content of the update. Chestnut wanted to record something last week, but many of the things she worked on were smaller jobs left from earlier cutscenes and didn't take long enough for their inclusion in an art-creation video to make sense. We did post a spoiler image here, though. I myself really like this image and judging by your comments (thank you for those, by the way), you have liked it too, so if you have access to spoilers, do check it out. If you don't, fear not since we'll publish it later as a wallpaper for all patrons once the update is out.

What have I been doing? A bit of everything. Playing Rose's quests over and over, rewriting whole chunks of various dialogues and reposing the scenes, changing the order or some events to improve the pacing and the flow (reducing the need to pass the time unnecessarily, for example), and trying to give the final shape to things. I have loads more work to do, not to mention a lot of testing to make sure what's added fits perfectly with everything else that has happened so far in the previous updates (and, more importantly, there are no bugs), but I'm on it and will get it done.

Chestnut has two large cutscenes she hasn't started yet (her plan for the coming weeks) and then the three hidden photos; everything else is either a minor image or variation. Once she's done with those, she will do what I've been doing, basically going through the content from the beginning and looking for missing variations or artworks that don't match the rest of the game and need to be edited or improved.

Lastly, another question that I've been asked recently is why the progress has slowed down? The simple answer is that I'm testing, and I don't count testing itself as a task. If I have to edit something, it's an edit task, if I have to rewrite or repose, it's a new writing or a posing task, but testing takes time and is not represented in the progress tracker, so, even if it may not look like it from the daily progress tracker, I'm working and can't wait to finish this update, and share it with you as soon as possible.
