Refunds
If you were a patron last month and want to receive a refund for July, please send us a message here on Patreon, and we'll issue it for you right away.
This is because we thought we'd be able to release the update last month, but despite our best efforts, we couldn't manage it. But since I had announced it, it would only be fair if I offered you July's subscription for free.
This refund is separate from the regular monthly refunds we issue for all new patrons who join us in the final days of a month and renew their membership. If you're one of those new members (hello, and welcome!), you don't need to send us any messages, and we'll refund your last month's pledge very soon (as soon as all payments are processed).
The report
We've spent almost the whole of last week testing the game (Chestnut), adjusting the artworks (again Chestnut -- I'm hopeless at drawing), and heavily editing the content to improve the pacing of the release (me). I'm not done yet, but I should be able to fix the pacing and feel of the content by the end of the weekend. There has been a lot of rewriting, particularly in the intro which we thought was confusing and too long, and all of the rewritten and edited scenes have also been reposed. Chestnut tested the intro yesterday and still wrote down three notebook pages worth of minor suggestions and improvements, but she agrees that it's now very close to how it should be. So we're overall happy with the outcome.
What's next?
We want to finish the editing+rewriting, then go through some of the bugs left from before, and then just keep testing, checking for typos, making sure the crystal ball works, the sound effects make sense, we haven't missed any convos, the sex scenes are optimized, and the release is in good shape. Once we manage all these, we'll send the update to external testers.
Busy busy weeks ahead, but it's also very exciting!
