We want to give a shout-out to the game Knightly Passions by FEYADA and recommend that you check it out. Chestnut and I played it some time ago, and we really liked its art style and smooth animations. There are also combat mechanics, mini-games, and RPG elements, so if you enjoy those things with your NSFW content, you will probably have fun playing it.

Finished my playthrough of the 0.8c free download. Sorry to say that I'm not impressed. To be sure, it's a beautiful-looking game. The artwork, the character designs, and the animation are all superb. And I'm ALWAYS grateful for a game that includes the sex scenes in a gallery for easy access and replayability. More importantly, I love the fact that this actually feels like a game and not just a visual novel. The combat and minigame mechanics (except the fishing minigame, which I couldn't figure out) are all intuitive and frankly ingenious ways to make a legit RPG within the restraints of the Runey engine. The grind never felt like a boring chore, the boss scenes broke up the monotony nicely, and none of the puzzles or quests felt too easy or too difficult to figure out. That said, I do find it notable that there are no gold or EXP drops after every fight. That seems like a rather glaring omission in an RPG. Then we have the sex scenes. While they were beautifully animated, the camera angles and dialogue didn't feel right, the mechanism for varying speed was cumbersome, and the interactivity is sorely lacking. Most importantly, we've got a sex scene with a character too intoxicated to consent. For me personally, that's a dealbreaker. Elsewhere, the characters are thin, the setting feels hollow, the quests and storylines are uninspired, and while the prologue introduces ideas of economic inequality and corrupt politics, these themes are not developed at any further point in the story so far. While I'm grateful this one was brought to my attention and I'm glad I got the chance to try it, I'm not moving forward with it.
