Hi everybody.
I hope you're all doing well and have had a great week.
Chestnut has been working on a new cutscene for one of our events from the end of Gomira's first quest. In its current pre-polished form, I use sprites to show the action of this event, but during our tests, we decided that sprites alone don't work here, and having a series of cutscene images is the best approach for it.
I have been debugging some of the older issues I found a while back, and I want to fix them by the end of April and start on the newer bugs. These issues have kept me quite busy, to the point that I forgot to post a few sprite additions that Chestnut had asked me to publish here on Patreon as a Spoiler for Best Friend and Close Friend patrons. These additions involve a few variations that demonstrate why the polish phase is necessary to improve the feel of the game. So, I'm going to post that probably tomorrow or on Sunday. Speaking of future posts, Chestnut says she also plans to record an art creation video for next week.
That's all.
Have a wonderful wonderful weekend.
P.S. In a few days (the first of May), we'll celebrate the fourth anniversary of What a Legend's first release. It's still hard to believe that we get to work on a project we love and despite all the challenges makes us happy. That's of course thanks to all of you -- so many things are, actually, but I don't want to bore you by ennumerating them; so, I'll just say thank you and I hope we deserve your trust and support.
