I hope you're all doing well and have had a great week. At the MagicNuts home, we've been very busy working on the structure of the plot of 0.8, and we're overall happy with the results. We've nailed down the form of the update, the intro, and the quest (which will include one "think" sequence and a couple of crafting tasks). There are two events toward the end of the quest that we're not clear about, and we need more storyboarding for the cutscenes of the update -- Chestnut has already completed storyboarding for several earlier parts, and I've started my spit draft, but more is necessary. Our goal is to dedicate the next week to planning as well so that we have a smoother development later when we begin posing.
It's worth pointing out that while I was reading and working on the story, Chestnut designed three new sprites for the existing characters, and completed a background location.
In next week's report, we can give a spoiler-free outline of what to expect in 0.8, including a list of what sex scenes we have planned.
Additionally, last week we published the 0.9 content poll, and these are the options:
I have not gone through the votes to remove duplicates (there are always one or two) but if you're curious, as of the time of publishing this, the Main Story is ahead by twenty votes. The poll will be open for another 3-4 days, though, and if you're a Best Friend or a Close Friend supporter who hasn't cast a vote yet, please head over here and pick what you'd like to see for 0.9:
