Hi everybody.

I hope you're all feeling well and had a great week. Before the weekly report, I want to remind everyone that we're currently running the Hidden Photos poll for 0.8 and the results so far are as follows:

We have three days left before the poll closes and it'd be interesting to see who, along with Simmone, will be the second person to have their photo taken in the next update. We're curious too, and eagerly check the results every day. If you're a Best Friend supporter, please go here and cast your vote.

Now the report:

Chestnut has continued her work on designing sprites from last week. At this stage, she's creating the base look and feel of the sprites, and once those are confirmed, she'll add extra facial features and hand gestures.

I focused all my time on coding the base structure of the update. I planned to finish the whole thing by the end of Jan, but that seems unlikely (I probably need 3-4 more days). I'm happy with the work, though, since I'm done with the more complex coding job, and Holly has a few of them since although her story is much simpler than Gomira's, unlike our orc mercenary, her update rarely locks the player into a large narrative event and at all times players can free roam and engage in other quests or activities which requires more coding to ensure an experience free of conflicts, crashes, etc.

Next week, Chestnut wants to finish the preliminary design of the sprites she's been working on these days and return to drawing backgrounds. She also wants to record art creation videos, but that'd be unlikely next week (it'll definitely happen this month).

I can't wait to complete the base coding and start writing dialogues.
